12. Captured

Louisa's p.o.v

-before being captured-

I nervously laugh at what we got told "would you excuse us for a second?" I ask as I grab Bolin's hand and pull him into the bathroom. There I lock the door and turn the water on, harshly whispering "are you serious?!" Bolin tilts his head. "Louisa, this is the Triple Threats; of course we're gonna be muscle for some kind of turf war." His words didn't reassure me as I shake my head and start softly pacing back and forth. Mumbling about what could possibly go wrong, how we could get hurt since these are thugs.

Bolin stops me from pacing as he sets his hands on my shoulders "hey.. look at me" I look in his eyes as he holds me here. "We'll be okay, I'll watch your back... okay?" He says softly, so I breathe in and out. My nerves feel all over the place as I just hug him, the water hit the wall as my eyes widen. It stopped after a second, I ignore that as I say "just.. promise me you'll be careful - this is serious." Bolin hugged back saying "I promise" with that he shut the water off "why's the floor wet?" He asks.

Hard swallowing I say "w-would you look at that? It's getting late, we should get going" I open the door and pull him back out. We had to wait for the time of the turf war... I didn't feel all that comfortable with the thugs around. Though I got used to it as we sit around, but that's when the back door bursted open. My eyes widen at that 'looks like things aren't going to their plan' I think as we're all preparing ourselves. We're fighting these guys in masks- 'they don't look like any of the triads!' I think a bit scared.

Triple Threat after Triple Threat was taken down as Bolin and I fought our best, trying to stand back-to-back to make sure we weren't taken down. That's when this masked guy got close and he touched a few parts on my arm, I grunt at the feeling. The feeling in my arm wasn't there for a second, when it came back I couldn't bend. My eyes widen as I was tied up, I yelp as I fall "Louisa!" Bolin says worried as he went to grab me. Though the guy did the same thing to him and the feeling looked like it was delayed.

Bolin looked like he tried to bend- and nothing happened, I stand up and jump up - barely kicking the stomach of the man. He stumbled before I was punched, I fell back down as my head felt dizzy... my vision is a bit spotty. All I know is I was picked up, Bolin wasn't that far from me as I can feel tears going down my face. A cloth got tied around my mouth as my vision finally came back, I look to see I'm by Bolin. My tears are still going down as I feel so much fear- "Bolin/Louisa!" I hear yelling.

Looking out behind the masked man I see Mako and Chotang- I already knew I couldn't do anything to the guy as the doors closed. Bolin nudged me, so I just cry against his shoulder as the truck goes, a bit of realization hits me. My tears still go down as I sit up, Bolin looks at me confused as I also open my mouth and blow some hot air. It didn't take long for the cloth to stretch out a bit from being wet and I shook it off my face. It lays down on my shoulders around my neck as I look up at Bolin "now I can at least talk..." I softly way.

His eyes widen as I just bite on his cloth and pull it down, he looks at me with a soft expression "I... I'm so sorry, Louisa. I dragged you into this mess all because we needed money" he apologizes, so I set my head on his shoulder again. "It's okay - I willingly came with you, you didn't drag me anywhere... I just hope we'll be okay." Bolin set his head on top of mine saying "we will be" my body felt so tired as I fall asleep against him.

-short time skip-

I groan as I wake up, looking around I see I'm in a small room... it looks so bland as Bolin has his arms crossed while sitting down. "Bolin!" I say as I run over to him, with this I hug him - he gently hugged back saying "we're trapped in here." That confused me "is the door locked?" "No, but there's guards right outside the door ready to take us down. I tried to escape, it didn't work" Bolin informed me before I just sat down by him. "How long have we been in here?" I ask, trying to think on what I could have done differently.

He sighs saying "that I know of.. a few hours" I wipe at my nose 'why is it runny?' Realization hits as I remember what happened before the doors closed. 'Chotang came looking for me... oh man- I should've told him I loved him before he left.' My eyes tear up again as I cry, Bolin consoled me; thinking I'm crying since we're captured. I shake my head saying "no!.. my brother came looking for me, he's probably worried sick. I can't believe he seen me tied up and captured after everything that's happened at the park."

At this point I hug Bolin close, he tensed "what.. happened at the park?" He asked 'I might as well tell him' I think as I calm down a bit. "I was defending a non-bender from these Waterbenders... they were picking on him. Then when the guy ran away they picked on me, next thing I know is as I'm crying in pain they froze me up. Worried my brother as they found me a few days later, when I was dug out my hair had changed to blue. He's probably worried sick again..." I tell my story, Bolin hugged me tighter "I'm sorry, Louisa - everything's going to be okay."
