Footsteps nearing us got my attention as Bolin says "uh ohhh, here he comes; now don't mess with this guy, he's a nasty dude." He looks back before gasping and closing his eyes as he quietly, and quickly, eats his food again. I look down as this guy starts talking "well well well, if it isn't the Fire Ferrets" he starts off. Then he adds on "Pro-bending's saddest excuse for a team" I felt anger in me at hearing that. I glare back at him as I realize he's standing right behind me, I don't know how I didn't notice that before.
Then he looks between Bolin and Korra saying "tell me, how a couple of amateurs like you luck your way into the tournament?" I still glare at him. He now looks at me as he hums in thought "and have yourself a pretty little thing, you aren't a Ferret." "No, but I'm a supporter; beat it, Tahno" I say as I still look back at him, he just chuckles a bit. Then he looks at Korra saying "but especially you, Avatar?" I don't like the vibe he's giving off. He looked like he was about to step close to her, so I stand up and be in his way, feeling protective.
"Look at that, you're not a supporter; you're like a bodyguard... a little thing like you? Aw, sweet" he says as he puts a hand to his hip. With that he just looks at Korra from over my shoulder "ya know, if you'd like to learn how a real pro bends. I could give you some private lessons, same goes for you short-stack" he says and winks at me. He got close to me after that, so I take a small step back, feeling weirded out by how close he is. He chuckles again saying "all talk, but is scared by closeness, maybe I can give you some confidence."
His hand starts to get close to grabbing mine which made Korra stand up and pull me away from him, I'm now by her side as she looks up at him. "You want to go toe-to-toe with me, Pretty Boy?" She asks as she glares up at him. She's not that much shorter than him, but he's smiling as he looks at her "go for it, and short-stack. Learn from her, she got all up in my face" then he snapped his fingers "just like that." Bolin looked like he was gripping his bowl hard as he shifts his gaze from Tahno to Korra.
Though Tahno says "I'll give you the first shot" Bolin leans over a bit saying "Korra, don't; he's just trying to bait you. If you hit him, we're out of the tournament" he's still smiling down at Korra, but he lifts my chin up. "What is a pretty thing like you doing with a nobody like him?" He asks as this got me closer to him. Korra growls softly saying "hands off of my friend" she pulled me back again before whistling loudly. Her pet comes through the window roaring out, I hung onto Korra scared as I felt the wind of the pet's breath.
Tahno girlishly screamed as I barely hear his footsteps get away from us, with that I look over and see he shrugged off his friends' hand. Then he fixed his hair before lifting up his hands and walking away, people in the restaurant were quietly murmuring about this. My legs shake a bit as they almost give out, but Korra and Bolin laugh a bit as she kept me up. "I've never seen someone harass Tahno like that!.. or try to stand up to him, Louisa. You're both one of a kind" Bolin says as he stands up and helps me sit back down in my chair.
I nervously laugh as Korra just smiles at Bolin's compliment, I try to calm myself as I say "I didn't like how close to me he was getting. Not to mention the polar bear dog scared me" "her name is Naga" Korra says to me as she still has that smile. We get out of that place and towards a different one, I give Zorro a snack before going in. Here we just get a few drinks, it tastes good; I smile at the taste and Bolin burps out after taking a sip. Then he got embarrassed as his eyes widen and he puts his hand over his mouth, a small blush is also on his face.
That looks so cute, but Korra just burped right back - this got me to take another sip and burp with them, so Bolin takes a breath in. He burps a bit louder than how we were before smirking and crossing his arms, so I chuckle at this. Though I take a big drink- both me and Korra end up burping loudly, Bolin looks at us before we all start laughing. 'Man, it feels good to let loose instead of having to try and hold those in' I think as I remember the times I did with Cho. Looking over to my left I see a couple looking at us in disgust, so I laugh even harder at the sight.
Bolin then smiles big saying "ooo, I just thought of something great - we should head to this one tower, it gives off such a great view. Not to mention it looks beautiful in the dark when it lights up" "that sounds nice" I was the first to reply. We took our time with finishing our drinks before I ordered a small snack for Zorro, we're off into the night again. Bolin's with me on Zorro as he tells us where to go, when we get there I smile at the sight. 'I got to remember to come here more often, it really does look pretty' I think as we tell Naga and Zorro to stay here.
Then we start to go up to the top of this giant tower, once there we start to head to the railing; I wasn't expecting so many people to be up here. Once I seen the view though I didn't care as much as I softly smile at how it looks. Korra's looking down amazed before Bolin smiles at this, then he looks at me and I smile up at him. He looks at me before the wind blew a bit, the look in his eyes and the light against his face look so cute. I blush and look to the side, but the wind made me feel a bit cold, I didn't pack a coat with me.
