when niko opened the heavy rooftop door open, she was met with a wave of multicolored light.
"holy shit," she breathed out as she looked up at the sky. yuta had his arms crossed over his chest, facing the door with his back pressed against the railing. there was a small smile on his lips as he watched niko approach him, her gaze focused above.
it was beautiful, really. niko always loved rainbows as a child, and she'd been such a hermit as she grew that she typically missed them. now, she saw not only one, but two rainbows directly above them.
"i thought it was supposed to rain all day," she stated out loud, not expecting a response from the rock star across from her.
though, she wasn't surprised when he said, "it will again later. we'll have to go back inside in a few, but i saw this from the window and figured you could use it right now." he paused. "and talk to you about something."
