No one's POV

As they returned downstairs, the Ninja realised they would have to figure out seating arrangements.

After much arguing, they came to an agreement. Zane, Pixal and Cole would reside in the front. Lloyd, Kai and Nya would sit on the second row, while Jay and Morro sat opposite them. Bags would go in the back, like normal, and anything else would be placed on the empty seat between Jay and Morro.

Finally, they were on the road. Morro spent most of the trip looking out of the window, glaring at anyone who tried to talk to him. They didn't care though; the rest of them were conversing, joking, arguing and teasing like they normally did.

Two hours had passed, and Zane announced they had reached the Village. Cole jumped out of the car as soon as they were parked, stretching and trying to get his legs to wake up. Nya and Jay joined him, hopping up and down to prepare themselves for a long afternoon of walking about.

"Alright, let's get moving," Zane stated after the three had finished. "We're going to split up into groups of three. Some of us will book us a couple of rooms to stay at, as well as getting food. Another group will try and find records on the Village's residences. The final group will take Morro to his neighbourhood to try and bring back some more of his memories."

"Me and Cole could track down some information on the village; he did grow up here," Pixal offered, to which Zane lightly shook his head.

"Aww, why not Zane?" Cole jokingly complained.

"Because the last time we left you two alone on a mission, you ended up breaking a whole wall and almost getting caught."

"Almost. Also, the wall was in the way," Cole defended.

"No, you and Jay are taking Morro down 'memory lane', as you would say," Zane ordered, and Cole and Jay just smirked at each other.

"Well, now we're truly doomed," Kai whispered to Lloyd. "They're even worse than him and Pixal." Lloyd smiled, giggling a little.

"Hey, we're not that bad!" Jay argued, crossing his arms.

"Sure you're not, especially when neither of you listen to instructions and just 'wing it'," Nya teased, patting Jay's shoulder.

"Anyway," Zane interrupted, "Me and Pixal will look for information on the village's resident, and Lloyd, Kai and Nya will find rooms and food. We'll meet back here in two hours, alright?" Everyone nodded, and separated into their groups.

"Alright Morro, mind telling us where we need to go?" Jay asked as they began walking. Morro scowled, but started walking in a certain direction, so they just followed him.

"I like the way you've done your hair, by the way Cole," Jay mentioned, "It suits you."

"Oh, thanks. Kai helped me do it." He ran his fingers through his hair. "I like it a lot."

"Do you too mind? We're here," Morro yelled, and they both looked up to find themselves in a very familiar street.

"Cole, isn't this where your dad lives?"

"Yep, why?" Cole nervously responded.

"Well, it's a bit odd that Morro's mum has the same maiden name that yours did, and you guys live on the same street. Also, he said his brother's name was Nicholas, and that's your full name. And isn't Kira short for Kyranna?" Cole glanced over at Jay.

"When the hell did you get so good at detective work?"

"So? Am I right?" Jay pressed further, ignoring Cole's question. Earth sighed, leaning closer to Jay, who also shuffled closer.

"Fine; yes, Morro's my half-brother. Just keep quiet about it, alright?"

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"You really think I want the public to know I'm related to him?" He hissed, jabbing a finger at Morro's turned back.

"Fair point, but what about before he became a villain? I mean, I knew you had siblings, but you'd never told me anything further than that."

"Before Morro left, he was always there for me. But, when I turned nine, he just, disappeared, and I never heard from him again. My parents spent years trying to find him, but after Mum became bed-bound, they stopped looking so much, finally excepting he might be dead. Kira was three when he left, so she doesn't remember much about him. But, he'd been a constant for so long, and he'd just left me to spite a stupid prophecy. I was angry, and I hated bringing it up, so I just didn't talk about him. I shut him out, just like he shut me out."

"Ah, I see," Jay whispered.

"And, when he came back, he didn't even recognise me. Too caught up in his stupid plan for revenge," Cole added, folding his arms and turning away.

"So... What are you gonna do when he figures it out?"

"I'm not sure... we'll cross that bridge when we get there."

"Hey, I think I remember something about this place!" Morro yelled, completely oblivious to the conversation behind him.
