Attack on Vader

Chapter 33

On top of Wall Maria, everyone that survived are sitting around waiting for Commander Erwin to wake up. Off to the side at the edge of the wall Anakin is sitting looking over the place he grew up at. As he is settling there Annie walk up behind him and then takes a seat next to him.

Anakin: Why?

Annie: Huh?

Annie looks over at Anakin to see a single tear fall from his eye.

Anakin: Why did he leave? What happened to the Eren I know?

Annie put a arm around him pulling him into a hug as the two look over the city before them.

Annie: It going to be okay. We can bring him back... just like how your son brought you back.

Anakin looks at Annie with teary eyes as he gives her a weak smile. Annie put her hand on Anakin's cheek as she wipe the loose tears that escaped Anakin.

Annie: We will bring him back to the light. Together.

The two then lean in to each other as they share a quick kiss. After words Anakin looks at Annie as he remembers something.

Anakin: Mom is going to be mad.

Annie: Huh?

Anakin scratch the back of his head.

Anakin: I have not seen her in a long time. The last time I saw her was when me, Mikasa and Eren left for the Training Corps. I promise her I would help watch over Eren. She gonna to kill me.

Annie: Come on. It can't be that bad. Plus you still need to introduce her to your new girlfriend.

Anakin: Yeah, hopefully she doesn't get that mad.

Just then they head movement behind them as they turned around to see the Commander finally getting up. The two got up as they walked over to the Commander. Once they got there they saw him looking at his new regrown arm.

Levi: Welcome back.

Erwin would look to his left as he saw Levi standing next to him before squatting down so the two could see eye to eye.

Erwin: Which one do I have?

Levi: The Colossal Titan.

Erwin would nod as Levi gets up. Looking around Erwin would see that their were now only eleven people left that survived. Erwin would get up as he fixes himself and looks at the group.

Erwin: What happened to the Beast, Cart and Armored Titan?

Hange: They got away.

Erwin: Anything on Eren?

Anakin: He with them now.

Erwin: Huh?

Anakin: Maul turned him to the dark side, and now he seems to be working with the enemy. But he did give me the key to the basement.

Erwin nodded as he took in the new information.

Erwin: What about the basement? Have you all been down there yet.

Rex: No sir. We were waiting on you Commander.

Erwin nods as he looks over the group of surviving Scouts.

Erwin: Alright, me and few others will head down to the basement to get the information we need. The other will stay here and get the horses ready to return back to Wall Sina. Understood.

Everyone: Yes, sir.

Erwin: Good. Now Me, Anakin, Mikasa, Annie, Levi and Hange will head down to the basement.
