(15 YEARS LATER)
I grabbed my bags before heading out the door. I quickly checked my reflection in the mirror then yelled, “I’m leaving now for work. Come say goodbye!” Within two seconds I get ambushed by three crazy little creatures I loved so dearly. One of them looked up at me with her big hazel eyes and said sweetly, “Mommy. How long will you be gone?” I told her only a couple days and gave her a big hug. I will miss them all so much. I always do when I have to take these trips. I looked at all of my kids and thought how am I so lucky to have them. Angie is 5 years old and has bright blonde curly hair with her father’s hazel eyes. Nathan and Zoey are twins and are 3 years old. Nathan has dark drown curly hair with blue eyes and Zoey has long dark wavy hair with her father’s eyes. I loved them with all my heart. I glance up from hugging my children goodbye to see my husband standing there grinning. I give him a big hug and kiss to and say goodbye. On my way out the door I yelled, “Bye Travis! I love you! Always have, always will.”
