I went to school this morning and yesterday i missed school because of my cousins coming into town. As soon as i walked in someone came up to me and said "hey did presscott and ur brother get married yet" a kid said laughing as i shaked my head opening my locker
"Dont worry there just fuck buddies thats how taylor gets good grades all the time" a girl said
"I get good grades cuz i study u should try" I say
She repeated it back trying to mock me making the guy laugh "what a nerd" she says
"Ur the only one that thinks that" my friend janelle says as she noticed i was getting upset, i was really sensitive and embarrassed about what happened still
"Awh r u gonna cry" she mocked
"Ur such a pick me shut up" i say as the boys who were around go "OHHHHH"
"Well ur a hoe, who should probably cut down to the salads if u wanna look good in those shorts"
Next thing you know my fist collided with her face
I was so mad i mean i was so self concious about my body and this was the same girl from last time who said something like that to me
She was about to throw something back at me until a teacher came and stopped us and the bell rang
"GET TO CLASS NOTHING TO SEE HERE" the teacher yelled out

Next thing you know I was in the office,Connor was on the way to pick me up.
"mr morretti can i speak to u" The principal said as connor bent over looking at my hand
He nodded he asked if I was OK and I said yes so he went in with the principal
He came out with some worksheets and a booklet, I got suspended for two days so they sent home some homework for me to do.
Connor looked mad and said "get up were leaving" he said not sparing me a glance and walked out the door expecting me to follow.
I stood there frozen for a second and then he glared at me, which was enough to snap me out of my thoughts as we left the school
"Connor-"
"Dont-we can talk about this at home" he said sternly driving home

When we got home he told me to go upstairs.
I obeyed knowing that I was already in trouble, my cousins were at the gym so it was just us.
My dad called so i sighed and awnsered
He asked what happened and I told him. He told me that I shouldn't let everyone push me around like that and he was glad I finally stuck up for myself. I'm surprised he wasnt that mad.
" i'll let it pass just this once, but next time go get someone, you cant punch people ok?" He said as i told him that i knew that and that I understood
I think he just let it pass because he's never home and he feels guilty but anyways I said my goodbyes and told him to have a nice rest of his day. I went on TikTok for a while i'm surprise my phone didn't get taken. I heard the door open less than three minutes later and my phone got ripped out of my hand.
Kade.
He pocketed my phone and sat next to me.
"You don't get a phone sorry" he said
I tried to protest but he gave me a glare and shot me down
It was alward silence for a minute and he looked at my hand
He left the room and came back and put some ice on it.
"Only a little bit Of bruising you're lucky you could've broken your hand" he said
" well good thing Elijah taught me how to punch" I said as he rolled his eyes
"You should've walked away this could've easily been avoided" he said " you know better" he said

" I know I'll never do it again can I have my phone back now?" I ask
" no way you're grounded I called mom she's also disappointed" He said as i immediately protested
"dad said I'm not, that's so not fair" I said as he furrowed his brows
" I doubt he said that" He said
"Call him?! Im not lieng" I said
" whatever I'm in charge do your homework"

A while later I heard footsteps coming upstairs and I felt my ipad get snatched from me
"What part of no technology don't you understand"
"Give it Connor!" I said annoyed
" heck no you don't punch someone in the face and get ipad time" he said
"But dad said-" I started to say but he cut me off
"Idc what dad said!!!... he's never here.. so I am in charge you don't get rewarded for bad behavior you know better than that" he said raising his voice as i felt a fresh set of tears going down my face i hate being yelled at
" meet me downstairs with your laptop, ur tv remote and school computer" he said And went downstairs
I sighed knowing that one of them would come up here getting me into more trouble and decided to go downstairs I went to the kitchen rolling my eyes and giving my stuff to Connor.
" good now sit down and eat" he said as I roll my eyes trying to walk away
"Hey you need to listen to your brother, sit. down."Alex said towering over me
I sat next to reese and kade and looked at my food. After what she said today I lost my appetite. I was starting to get confident again but what she said really hurt.
Kade picked up my hand and looked at it " i'll have to wrap it later, eat." He said
I just kind of sat there the whole time crossing my arms
" Cut out the teen act, lets go" Connor pointed to my food
" i'm not hungry" i said
"Whats wrong" hayden said
" nothing, not like anyone would ask why this happened in the first place" i said rolling my eyes
"Well why did it-" connor starts to say as i cut him off
" I don't want to talk about it nobody understands" i said
" Do not have attitude towards ur brother, he's basically your guardian so you have no right to be rude" alex said
" no my dad is my guardian, and he said I wasn't introuble" i said annoyed whinning
"Well where is he Taylor!!! " Connor snapped standing up" I don't see him here ever, and i am sick of being the bad guy while he gets to be the fun parent Who drops in once in a while bringing presents and toys, now eat ur damn food " he yells as my eyes start to tear up
"Well at least he's not boring and strict like you" i yell back as he stands up
"Ok maybe we should take a breathe" Hayden says as kade tells him to calm down
" I have to be strict because sometimes you don't listen Taylor!!" he yelled back
" I don't listen because you guys are overbearing jerks, Who don't let me have a love life" I yelled, Yes I was still mad about the sleepover situation, but it wasn't just that they were always like that about boys and it was annoying they treat me to much like im 7
" because you're too young and we know what's best for you, ur not dating hudson end of story! And ur not getting ungrounded from this!" he yells
"Whos hudson?!!" Josh and reese say at the same time
"U CLEARLY DONT AND YOUR BEING SO UNREASONABLE " I yell back starting to cry again
"He's not being unreasonable guys are jerks and they could be assholes" Elijah says " you don't know what it goes through a guys head at this age, we do!" he yells
"IM NOT 5 ELIJAH" I yell
"I- you know what fine just take my stuff I don't care anymore!" I say and run upstairs
