"Malcom, you can't do that!" Father said, displeased.
"Well, I just did ," Ares said before finally giving me control.
I was about to speak in favour of Ares when realisation hit me.
When a wolf rejects his mate, both parties feel immense pain as the bond is broken, but..... I didn't feel anything.
'What the heck is going on?'
'She's a fake!'
"You don't feel the bond breaking?" I asked impatiently.
Her face instantly paled.
"What do you mean, so -"
"Aaaa!"
Father was cut off by Tessa's scream. We all turned our attention to her as she dramatically fell on her knees and sobbed loudly. Mother went beside her and comforted her.
"Son,see what you caused?"
"She's pretending. I don't feel anything. "
Everyone stilled, even Tessa stopped crying.
"She's a fake, " I continued.
"I...I..I can explain -"
"Silence! You had the audacity to come here and fake a mate bond?!" Dad roared with his Alpha tone,making Tessa flinch.
Just at that moment, the pack guards came in.
"Take her to the torture cell,"
With a light bow, they grabbed her and dragged her out despite her protest.
After the guards left, mum let out a sob.
"We're so sorry son. We thought that you'd finally found your destined one. "
"It's okay, mum. Just don't let this happen again. "
"I'll personally find out all the information in her, " Father stated and I nod.
"I have work to do. Excuse me. " I say before heading out.
'What's wrong with you?'Ares asked.
'What?'
'You seem down.'
'I just thought we'd finally find her'
'Yeah, what a pity. But don't worry, we'll find her, someday '
*One Hour Later *
'Rouge Attack!!!!!' Someone screamed through the pack link.
I opened a private link with the person, who was actually a patrol guard.
'What's going on?'
'Future Alpha, there are so many rouges at the Eastern border. We can't hold them much longer. '
'Don't worry,I'll bring help '
I mindlinked some more guards to help at the Eastern border and we ran there in wolf form.
A bloody fight begun and I killed so many rouges.
All of a sudden, a howl was heared and all the rouges retreated.
All the guards looked at me confused, just like I was.
Then dad mindlinked ,
'Son, the witch, Tessa, she's gone!'
