So Which is Death

When I die, don't look for me in the grass

Look for me in the mountains

(Brutal snow and thunder cracked-air and sky-scraping monstrosities)

When I die, don't look for me in the puddles

Look for me in the oceans

(Depth and cold, lonely darkness and alien, glow-dust creatures)

When I die, don't look for me in the breeze

Look for me in the hurricanes

(The arc of galactic lightning and world-crushing cloud and screaming light)

When I die, don't look for me in the sunsets

Look for me in the sun

(Blazing rays and butter-soaked earth and dry, awesome heat)

When I die, don't look for me in the silence

Look for me in the screaming quiet

(Betrayal and broken and burning tears)

When I die, don't look for me

Find me
