Chapter 7: I Have Kept You In My Heart

EUNJI's POV:

It's raining heavily outside. And whenever rain pours, she always sleeps at her brothers room. It's not not she was afraid of lightning and thunder but because she felt more comfortable sleeping with someone while raining heavily outside. 

Eunji went off of her bed and walks to her brother's room. She knocks three times but her brother seems like sleeping already. So she open the door and go straight to her brother's side.

"Kuya, still up?"

"Hmmmn? Go to sleep Eunji." he said without even opening his eyes.

"Kuya..."

"Hmmm?"

"Namimiss ko na sina mama at papa." Eunji said as she cling to her brother's arm.

"Me too. Now, go to sleep. It's late." he said as he pats her arm.

"Let's go home, kuya. And let's stay with them for a day or two. Ang dami kong gustong i-kwento sa kanila. Isa pa, ang tagal na nating hindi nakakauwi ng bahay. Kailan ba tayo pwedeng umuwi? Kuya? Tulog ka na?"

WONBIN's POV:

Eunji, hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko sa'yo. Bakit ba hindi mo matanggap ang katotohanan na wala na tayong babalikan? Na hindi na tayo babalik pa doon? God! Help me with my sister. Tulungan nyo po akong buksan ang isip nya sa katotohanang wala na kaming babalikang mga magulang. Na wala na sila mama at papa.

"Ang daya mo kuya, tinulugan mo ko. Ganyan ka naman lagi eh. Pasalamat ka mahal kita." Eunji whisper then planted a light kiss on her brother's cheek.

KINABUKASAN...

"Kuya, I wanna go home."

Hay nako... Eto na naman po sya at ngayon may payak-yakap pa mula sa likod ko. Ano na nga yung ginawa nya nung huli? Ah! Free back massage daw. Aish~

"Hindi ka pwedeng mag byahe ng ganun, Eunji. At alam mo naman yon hindi ba?"

"Pero Kuya, kung hindi ngayon, kailan pa? I'm turning 19 and of all people, ikaw ang mas nakakaalm na paunti ng paunti ang natitira sa akin." sagot niya sa mahinahong tinig at naupo nalang sa harap ng lamesa. "Any moment now, pwede akong mamata---"

"Stop it! Eunji, will you sto telling me that you wanna go home?! At huwag na huwag mong sasabihing malapit ka ng... malapit ka ng..." Argh! I can't even speak it out! Paano pa kaya ang tangggapin na ano mang oras ay pwedeng mawala sa kanya ang kapatid? 

Eunji run out before he even finished talking to her.

EUNJI's POV:

That was the second time that my brother used that tone to me. I don't understand why he doesn't even want, even once, to see our parents in the provice where we grew up.

I know that  I only have few months left and that's because I've been having a frequent difficulty in terms of breathing and I heard from my doctor that another heart attack might cost my life. Kaya hindi ko maintindihan si kuya kung bakit hindi man lang nya ko mapagbigyan sa simple kong hiling na makauwi sa amin? And why is it that for the past two years, our parents didn't even bother to pay us a visit? Ganoon ba sila ka-busy?

Eunji keeps running away from their house without direction or without even knowing where to go until she bumped into someone then fell on the ground.

"What the heck! Tumingin ka naman sa dinada---- Eunji? Hey! Bakit ka ba tumatakbo?" Seunghyun asked.

Seunghyun lives just three blocks away from us. He was my childhood sweetheart and one of the reason why we are here. Sa kagustuhan ko na rin na sundan sya because I like him.
