At Vihaan's House 🏡 :

It's night time, Nishi comes to have some water for herself while her mother serves her father and brother, Vihaan who chit-chats among themselves about some work.

"बिटिया, ये चोट कैसे लगी हाथ में?" Kaka's question shuts their mouths making them look at the duo.

[ Translation : "Dear, how did you get this injury on your hand?" ]

"याद नहीं। लग गई होगी।" Nishi says shrugging and was leaving when Kaka asks, "और खाना?"

[ Translation 1 : "Don't remember when I got it."

Translation 2 : "And dinner?" ]

'ये काकू हमेशा सवाल सबके सामने क्यूँ करते हैं?' Nishi thinks and avoids from almost facepalming.

[ Translation : 'Why does Kaku always ask questions in front of everyone?' ]

'In hope that they will make you eat.' A voice says making her snicker inwardly and reply, 'Nonsense!'

"अ. . . . वो. . भूख नहीं है।" She leaves hurriedly before Kaka could say anything else.

[ Translation : "A. . . . Uh . . . I'm not hungry." ]

"ये लड़की बीमार पड़कर ही मानेगी।" Kaka mutters and leaves shaking his head for his room to rest as he already had his dinner.

[ Translation : "This girl will definitely fall ill." ]

Vihaan gets up making his parents look at him and Karuna asks, "Where are you going?"

"I'm not hungry. I just remembered, I already ate in the company." He leaves without another word with a slight smile wishing them night before they could protest.

"He is lying. Tej told me he didn't eat anything but kept himself busy all day." Karuna says sadly.

"He is guilty. . . ." Vineet says looking at his son's room's closed door and adds after a second looking at his wife, "like us." Karuna's eyes turn moist. Vineet sighs, gets up and hugs her.

None ate that night too, they just couldn't after knowing that the person who saved them from a big tragedy was not only hurt deeply but was going to sleep with an empty stomach again.

The very next day, Nishi is reading a book sitting on the sofa comfortably. It was Saturday and they all come and sit in the garden as it was a breezy day. Everyone wanted Nishi to join them but no one knew how will Vihaan react and also, if she herself wants to join them or not.

"Bhaiya, you should eat something. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday's morning." Nikki says softly with concern.

Vihaan smiles softly at her concern and says, "I'm not hungry, Princess. I'll eat when I'll feel hungry."
