I mentioned in my '20 facts about me' that my first ever poem (that I could remember) was one about Rosa Parks. I also mentioned that I would put it on here for alla y'all to see >.< And, well now that I've found it...
——————————
In this world we have a human right
But something from the inside shines so bright
At that time it was Rosa Parks
Against white people fierce as sharks
Busy at work, dreary and tired
Soon, by the thought she became admired
It was all hidden from the sight
All they did was fight fight fight
Illegal and legal that is the rule
But don't even think about being too cool
Just respect each other
They might even be your sister or brother
Finally it came to an end
Where now everything is a mend

Cringe! Cringe! Cringe! Urghh...what was I thinking? 'But don't even think about being too cool'?! BD <<Lols
But what's important is the message behind it, right? Or am I just kiddin' myself?
This is just too raw! Maybe the next post will be an edited and polished version of this...who knows?
P.S. Expect more activity from me these days! God willing, I'll have a lot more time on my hands in the coming weeks.
