Don't you dare
Put a finger on me
I'm strong so
Do not shake this tree
Though the wind blows and howls
Swaying branches, how?
I've already said and I'll say it again:
Do not shake this tree
I fear if uprooted I'll become empty
Like a home looted
Of faith, of life and so you see, please
Do not shake this tree
My roots and twigs are firm
Grasping onto the earth, like fingers worn bare
Yet I dread the force that will come
You can not shake this tree
I declare: my leaves are there
Green and vivid, lively not timid
I will outlive this for sure simply because
You can not shake this tree
I have been here all along so
It will be the same, hold on
Strength in bracing the worst it will be
Destiny: you will not shake this tree
