During the next two days, probably because classes had started, Lisa did not come to the store.

Jennie had closed the shop early at six o'clock and went home to change into a fancier outfit. Tonight was when Jennie agreed to eat hot pot with Rosé and a few others at Guan Yin Qiao.

She changed into a white suspender skirt, one that complimented her figure and had an elastic band within the dress that perfectly accentuates her delicate waist.

Rosé currently worked for a local private company and was recently promoted, so it was normal for her to be working overtime on the weekends. Rosé originally agreed to pick her up around eight, but when it was 7:30, she sent a message of apology to Jennie. Rosé was unable to leave work early, so she had sent someone else to pick up Jennie.

"The license plate number is BXXXXX, and it's a black Land Rover. Just meet them downstairs, and they'll drive you to the restaurant. Go ahead and order without me, I'll try to get there as soon as I can." Rosé explained over the phone.

Jennie understood that Rosé was busy, so she whispered a few words of encouragement and hung up.

She walked out of her building in heels, and stood at the gated entrance, waiting for her ride. The sun was setting, and the night wind blew gently through the air, cooling down the summer heat.

After a while, a black Land Rover could be seen on the horizon. The car stopped outside the gate, and Jennie stepped forward, but when she saw the driver, she froze.

Lisa sat in the driver's seat, wearing a black t-shirt and overalls. However, today she wore her hair up, with a red and black striped hairband on her forehead, and pieces of hair hanging out on both sides.

Lisa tilted her head and looked at Jennie, leaned forward, and opened the passenger side's door with one hand, "Get in."

Jennie shook herself from a daze, bent forward, lifted her legs, sat down, and whispered, "Thanks."

I didn't expect it to be her.

Lisa hummed in response but didn't say anything else.

Jennie lifted her hand and brushed her hair while turning away to look outside. There were many pedestrians on the streets today, and the neon lights of the stores made the atmosphere outside seem bright and lively. Suddenly, Lisa reached over and fastened Jennie's seatbelt, her hand accidentally touching Jennie's thigh. Jennie tensed a bit at the touch, almost jumping in her seat.

Lisa didn't seem to notice and retracted her hand after the seatbelt was secured. She grabbed the wheel and started driving to the restaurant. The car was silent; no one spoke during the drive.

When they finally arrived at the hot pot restaurant, the little cousin from before was waiting for them at the door. Inside the restaurant, Jennie recognized a few people, and some of them greeted her. There were a few friends, and when everyone saw Jennie they greeted each other.

Jennie smiled back softly, and woman in yellow called out to her, pointing at the seat beside her.

The seat was at a round table, and if Jennie sat there, the table would be full.

When Lisa saw this, her face turned dark and sullen.

But before Jennie could move, the cousin said to the woman in yellow, "Wendy, I want to sit with you! I haven't seen you for so long. I miss you ~."

The girl's flattering and sweet words made everyone at the table laugh. Someone even teased her, "You miss Wendy, but what about the rest of us? Did you forget about us?"

Yeri grinned and said, "Of course I didn't forget about you guys. I miss all of you so much!" She walked over and sat next to the woman in yellow.

Since Yeri took her seat, Jennie sat at another table, and Lisa sat down next to her.

By the time Rosé had arrived, it was about an hour later, and the food was almost all finished. Rosé apologized profusely and paid the bill, and even invited everyone out to karaoke.

Yeri and Lisa didn't have any classes tomorrow morning, so they agreed to come along as well.

Inside the KTV room, the dim lights flickered as few people sang their hearts out. Jennie was quiet and gentle by nature, so she didn't handle these events very well. She sat silently in the corner, sipping her drink.

Rosé sat with her for a bit, drinking a large bottle of wine with her.

By the time half of the bottle was gone, the alcohol was already showing its effects. Jennie knew her limit and stopped herself from drinking any more. However, Rosé had a higher level of tolerance and wanted to drink more, so she left Jennie to seek out other people willing to drink with her.

The woman in yellow, Wendy, glanced at the drunk and now alone Jennie and was about to sit down when Lisa beat her to it, stealing the spot next to Jennie.

Wendy got the message, lifted her drink towards Lisa, and gulped down the glass in one shot.

Lisa ignored the woman.

Jennie felt lightheaded and dizzy, so she leaned against the couch with her eyes closed. When she felt somebody sit next to her, she wearily opened her eyes.

"Uncomfortable?" Lisa asked, whispering in her ear, "Do you want me to drive you home?"

Lisa's body was very close to hers, almost touching, but there was still a distance between them. Jennie's eyelids trembled. Just now, when Lisa spoke, her warm breath caressed her neck, making her feel hot. Jennie shook her head and murmured, "I'm fine..."

Then she laid her head back down to rest.

Suddenly, she felt something grab her waist, pulling her. Then a pair of hands rubbed gently against her temples.

Instantly she felt a lot better.

Jennie had no strength left in her and was too lazy to move. Instead, she enjoyed the massage and leaned deeper into Lisa's arms.

Around half-past two, everyone slowly left the karaoke place. Yeri went with Rosé, and Lisa was responsible for driving Jennie home.

Jennie's building, underground garage.

In the backseat of the Land Rover, the atmosphere was heating up.

Maybe it was because of the alcohol, or the confusion from staying up so late. Either way, Jennie had no idea how she ended up in this situation.

She was straddling Lisa's lap, their bodies hugging as they kissed each other deeply.

The night time was when desires were at their peak; a small spark can turn it into a raging flame.

However, Jennie still had a bit of reason left in her as she stopped Lisa's hand from wandering down.

Lisas's lips broke away from hers. Lisa wrapped her hands around that slender waist, and planted kisses on Jennie 's throat, whispering, "We won't go all the way..."

Those words sent an electric shock up her spine and finding the excuse she needed, and Jennie let herself go.
