I see a single star
In the night sky,
My mind is at war
Wondering what was ever mine,
Wherever we both are

Sometimes I do wonder
If it was a mistake leaving you.
Or was it a (foolish) blunder?
No, I'm sure it was the right thing to do.
But even now when I hear the thunder
I wish you would help me through.

I miss you
Some days more than others,
I'd wonder if you liked someone new
Or were you just hanging out with your brothers,
But sometimes when I'm alone enjoying the view
Everything just smothers.

I can't breathe
I'm out of breath,
I feel everyone seethe
And wait for the embrace of death,
Everyone expects me to teethe
And I feel like Macbeth.

My lungs feel empty
My feet feel swollen,
I lost my twenty
And my heart's been stolen,
In me the flaws are plenty
But I don't realise I'm a colon.

You'd remind me of me
And how special I was,
Everyone saw the real me
And you'd be the cause,
Everything you want to be
You will be, just because.

And maybe if you were here
It would make everything easier,
While with you I have no fear
Everything's just breezier,
Because when you are near
I'm less sleazier.
