they had went to arisu and kuinas base, and niragi had disappeared into a corner, observing the others. jealously bubbled up to him as he saw how happy usagi was. she was cuddling up between arisu and kuina. he was biting on the inside of his cheeks to not say anything. the stress toy in his hand was getting mutilated by his fingernails. he listened to what arisu said, how they could defeat the king. he listened, but his eyes constantly lay on her. he would kill to be arisu right now, who she looked at with that big deer eyes.

niragis staring and his pissed off gaze had gained chishiyas attention, who started smirking and slowly raised his arms to wave. niragi snapped out of his thoughts and started smirking, waving back. he relaxed a bit, grabbing his backpack to search for something he could do. suddently, he stopped as he listened to arisus plan. 'that plan sounds good.' kuina said. he furrowed his eyebrows. 'stupid!' he yelled and came closer. all the attention shifted to him. arisus gaze became sinister. 'what?' he said, calmly, but his anger was hearable. 'your plan. do you want to kill us all?'

arisu stood up. 'well, do you have a better plan?' he snapped. niragi looked straight into his soul with his black pearl eyes. he couldn't help but feel intimidated. 'not yet. but from what we know,' he came closer and dropped down next to arisu grabbing a pen and paper. 'the king of spades has a radar where he sees us. how do i know that? the game developer knows at any time where we are, because of the lasers that are shot exactly to the point where the person stands, so ann thought that there might be a chip implanted in us. she didn't find anything, though.'

he inhaled and exhaled slowly. 'and then it's only logical that the king has a radar to locate us. how else would he find the people in a huge city like tokyo? also, he gains his weapons from the blimse, so we'd have to cut the way to it off. so what will we do? we will gather a bunch of players, so that he will come and kill them. we will hide in an alley. someone plays the bait that lures him into the alley and there we can defeat him.' arisu clicked his tongue. 'no. we're not murderers like you.'

niragi chuckled darkly. 'to gain something, you have to lose something.' he looked up to arisu. 'what would you rather want? sacrifice twenty players and defeat him to save hundred or let him kill a hundred and twenty?' arisu was taken aback by his statement. 'i see, we're really not that different, niragi.' chishiya chuckled. niragi laughed. 'you only realised now?' they held eye contact for a moment until niragi looked back to arisu. 'this is about the greater good, arisu. i'm on your fucking side.'

arisu shook his head. 'you may be, but you'll never be a part of our team.' 'arisu!' usagi said angrily. but they ignored her. wrath was spiraling in niragis eyes. 'i see.' he whispered and walked back to his original place, not without bumping into him. aguni looked worriedly to the younger—he knew him well, and he knew, he was imploding right now. it was only a matter of time until his anger got the best of him once again. arisu continued explaining his plan, and gave all of them roles. 'this will work. we'll get him and can kill him.'

he looked to niragi, who was following the conversation with a whine glass in his hands. he then came closer to niragi and started to whisper, so that the others didn't understand what they were saying. niragi placed his glas on the table. 'listen, i won't let you fuck up this time, you bastard. you better do what i say, or...' niragi laughed.'and... now i'm supposed to be afraid of... you?' he asked. 'come on, arisu. you're nothing more than an obedient puppy for usagi. you're not a threat for me.' he smirked, his gaze filled with arrogance.

arisu pushed niragi against the wall. 'don't fucking underestimate me.' 'oh, i know what you're capable of.' niragi widened his eyes and came closer, showing his teeth in a wide smile. 'but i also know what i'm capable of. just because i'm peaceful doesn't mean i'm harmless.' he pushed him harshly so that he fell onto the ground, niragi holding him down, his hand on arisus neck. 'i can still break your neck with my bare hands.'

aguni jumped up and came closer. 'niragi, stop!' he looked up. 'let me finish. believe me, i won't harm him.' aguni was torn, looking back and forth between the two males. 'let us talk.' arisu said as well. slowly, aguni backed away. niragi looked back down to arisu. 'i fucking hate how you walk around like you're the best. you're not special just because you saw your friends die. we all have issues, alright?' arisu turned them around. 'you fucking asshole. i don't believe anything about your 'redemption'. you're still the same. if usagi didn't like you, i'd kill you on the spot.' niragi laughed hysterically. 'you're going to kill me? yeah. sure. bet you couldn't even kill a fly if it annoyed you.'

he looked arisu deep into the eyes. 'you're just like me. it's only a matter of time until you realise it.' arisu shook his head. niragi pushed him away and stood up, looking down on him. 'listen, we both have the same goal. keeping usagi safe. so lets protect her together.' he reached out to arisu, giving him his hand. arisu looked up to him. 'i am trying to change myself, i really am. you just need to give me a chance.' arisu slowly grabbed his hand. 'i still don't trust you.'
