A day soaked in Tears

At Kanawut Palace:

It's became 2 hours Ken left home to airport. Anne was at home. She felt everything boring. No call from anybody.
Well, to kill the boredom she turned on the TV.

Suddenly, on the screen of TV a news flashed in a news channel.

"Mr. Ken Kanawut, the CEO of KKT company is shoot in his both sholders, currently admitted in NS Hospital".

Anne's world stopped for a moment.
The sudden shock made her statue.

After few seconds when realisation hit her she focused on the news again and tried to find a single lie on the news.

But sadly every information is totally clear which made Anne finally close the TV , take a car and drive and rush to the hospital.

At NS Hospital:

Anne sobbed in whole ride and prayed to God. But as a strong lady she stayed calm, wiped her tears and sincerely talked to doctor. Doctor said Ken got admitted 1 hour ago in emergency ward and his bullets are already successfully removed. But still he has to spend atleast 1 week in hospital, then 1 month bedrest and after that 6 months no work.

Anne sighed and gently talked to the media.

Then taking permission from doctor she went to visit her husband's ward.

Ken was still unconscious on his bed.
Anne spent few seconds there silently and thought about the case.

What can be happen ? They are in business world for such a long time. As a person, Ken is one of the nicest. No matter how much rival he has it's quite impossible that anyone wants to kill him.
Anne felt scared, insecurity engulfs her.
What if someone try to do something to her baby Gulf too ?

She again wiped her tears and came out from the room.
But at waiting zone she met a figure and became a little bit surprised.

"Weren't you on the family trip ?", Anne asked.

"We were about to get into the flight when I suddenly heard this news. How can I not cancel it dear ?", Janie wiped her eyes.

Anne's mind was roaming somewhere else. She suddenly asked," What about my Gulf?"

Janie hugged her bestie and told ,"Don't worry. I didn't tell him anything. I said I suddenly got an important work to do for my business which is emergency. So I am cancelling the tour. He was surprised but somehow believed it. Should I tell him dear ?"

Finally Anne cried at her shoulder,"No you did good. There is no need to tell him right now. He will be stressed." Anne didn't disclose the fact that Ken was actually going to meet them at airport.

After some more chit chat Janie said ," So ! Ken can't work for atleast 6 months. What about the company? "
Anne :- I will try to manage.
Janie:- It will be so hard for you I guess.
Anne :- Kinda true.
Janie :- How about my Mew takes the charge?
Anne :- Huh ? Mew ?
Janie :- Why ? No believe in my son's power ?

Anne :- It's not like that..but Mew...and Ken..

Janie :- I know that guy has trust issues. Make him realise that my Mew can do this for his father-in-law. And my son's power is definitely not unknown to him.

Anne felt ashamed in Janie's words. She doesn't wanna embarrass themselves anymore due to Ken's trust issues. So she replied sincerely,"I will make him understand."

Janie :- Okay then. Bye now. Me and Mew will visit you guys at home. Call you later and don't worry about Gulf.

Somehow the day went away and Ken isn't able to wake up properly due to dizziness.
