Feeling a sense of restlessness, Yeji found herself longing for some company outside the confines of her home. With a sense of spontaneity, she picked up her phone and dialed Ryujin's number. She suggested meeting up at a nearby café, knowing that spending time with her newfound friend would bring a sense of joy and adventure to her day.

Ryujin eagerly agreed, expressing how much she had missed their conversations and their shared moments of connection. The two friends found themselves sitting across from each other in the cozy café, catching up on their lives and reminiscing about the moments they had spent together.

As they talked, Yeji's attention occasionally drifted, her gaze fixating on Ryujin's features. In the midst of their conversation, Yeji's attention was abruptly diverted by a familiar figure passing by the café. It was Chaeryeong, accompanied by Yuna. Excitement welled up within Yeji, and she waved them over, inviting them to join their table.

Chaeryeong's face lit up with surprise and delight as she approached, followed by Yuna. The two pairs of friends introduced themselves, quickly finding common ground and sharing stories that deepened their connection.

As the evening progressed, Chaeryeong and Yuna excused themselves, as they had plans to continue. Yeji felt a tinge of reluctance to part ways with her friend, but before they left, Ryujin offered to drive Yeji back home.

Yeji gladly accepted the offer but made a small request. "Hey Ryuddaeng, would you mind driving around town for a few minutes? I don't want to go back home yet. I want to enjoy our time right now."

Ryujin smiled warmly. "Of course! Let's enjoy the moment and take in the sights."

As they embarked on their impromptu journey, the car moved through the city streets, the quiet hum of the engine accompanied by comfortable silence between them. They relished in the simplicity of the moment, feeling a sense of tranquility in each other's presence.

Ryujin returned the smile, her eyes gleaming with genuine affection. "Likewise, Yej. You've brought so much light and joy into my life as well. I'll always have your back."

Their words hung in the air for a moment before Yeji closed the distance between them, pulling Ryujin into a heartfelt hug. They embraced, their bond solidifying in that tender moment.

The butterflies in her stomach fluttered, and she couldn't help but miss her already. Just as she was lost in her thoughts, her phone vibrated, indicating a new message. It was Ryujin, letting her know that she had indeed arrived safely.

Yeji quickly responded, expressing how much she missed Ryujin and how she wanted to see her again soon. To her surprise, instead of a reply, her phone displayed the calling screen, indicating it was Ryujin on the other end. She eagerly answered, her heart skipping a beat at the sound of Ryujin's voice.

"Miss me already?" Ryujin teased, her chuckle resonating through the phone. Yeji couldn't help but laugh in response, feeling her cheeks warm up.

"Yeah, I really do," she admitted, her voice filled with genuine affection. They continued to talk, sharing their thoughts on the day's events and expressing their desire to meet up again soon. In the midst of their conversation, there was a brief pause, and then Ryujin spoke up.

"Hey, uh you wanna come over to my place tomorrow?" she asked, her voice tinged with a hint of hesitation.

Yeji's heart skipped a beat at the invitation, but she gathered her courage and accepted, her voice filled with anticipation. "I'd love to. Thank you so much for inviting me."

Ryujin reassured her, "I'll pick you up in the afternoon, so you'll have the morning to do whatever you want."

Yeji couldn't help but feel grateful for Ryujin's thoughtfulness. "Thanks, Ryu. You're amazing. Get some rest now or else." she laughed.

With a warm exchange of goodnights, they ended the call. Before drifting off to sleep, they exchanged one last message, bidding each other goodnight and sweet dreams.
