False Princess (Itachi × Reader Fanfic, Medieval Era)

Chapter 9

A brother? A royal origin? Who is he exactly?

Sasuke kept thinking silently throughout dinner time, not minding the noise his soldiers were making, just deep in thoughts...

What is he supposed to do? Even if this is true, it is here that he belongs to, he grew up dedicating his whole life for this kingdom, his home.
King Kakashi was kind to him, and have turned him into the man he is today...he gave special attention to him, ever since he was young.

Now this man called Itach suddenly appears, claiming he is his brother, a prince...

The next day Sasuke was up early as usual, he was preparing his horse for leaving, he looked as if he hardly had any sleep, it was a long night...

"No one follows me, I warn you", he said calmly to the soldier who was helping him, then mounted the back of his horse.

"Yes sir", the soldier said with a nod, and then Sasuke left the palace.

It was cloudy, foggy and cold. Sasuke had left the castle town and was making his way towards the forest.

He was heading to the place that his 'brother' mentioned in his letter, the old giant pine tree near the fountain...he knows where that place is.

He got off of his horse and was walking on his feet, there was a heavy stillness, he can barely hear some birds sounds from time to time...

The spotted the big tree a distance away, he felt nervous as he walked more further ahead, he rarely gets nervous...

Just as Itachi told [name] last night, she was hiding behind some trees and bushes a distance away and watching silently. She felt worried, she didn't want something bad to happen to him.

Itachi was standing beside the giant tree trunk when he saw a shape of a man coming towards him through the fog, as he got closer, he knew it is the one he was waiting for, Sasuke.

"I'm glad you came", Itachi said, smiling slightly while Sasuke kept a straight face.

"You'll either give me a proof of what you wrote on that paper, or you'll die right here and now", Sasuke replied coldly.

"I will, but first let me tell you what happened"

"I expect no games from you, go ahead"

Itachi told Sasuke what happened to their family and kingdom years ago when they were too young, the events seemed familiar, as if Sasuke had really lived all them once...yet he couldn't remember very well, a huge part of his past was missing, and even Itachi wasn't able to explain what happened after the coup...after all, he haven't seen him ever since he escaped...

"You told me quite a long and well structured story, but till now, you gave me no proof of who you are, no proof that I'm even bond to you...anyone can come up with a story like yours, but I need a proof, if you don't have one, get ready to die", Sasuke said calmly, then sudden grabbing Itachi by the throat and slamming him backwards against the great trees trunk, taking his sword out and placing it on his throat, Sasuke was surely stronger than Itachi, after all, they haven't been raised the same way...

"No! Stop! Please let go of him!"

Sasuke quickly turned around, seeing a girl running into their direction and crying, [name].

"S-stupid...", Itachi muttered, with Sasuke's strong grip still on his throat.

"What he said is true! I'm princess [name], and he kidnapped me some time ago for revenge and ever since then he was looking for you! He had no idea where are you or whether you're alive or dead! We never thought you'd be an important knight so don't think he is trying to take advantage of your position!", the girl said, trying hard to remove Sasuke's strong grip away from Itachi, finally able to do it, or so...sasuke let her remove his hand as he loosed his grip.

"Sasuke"

Sasuke turned back to his brother, waiting for what he was gonna say next.

"You want a proof of what I said...a proof that I am your brother, and that I belong to the Uchiha royal family...and here it is...", Itachi trailed off, closing his eyes shortly then opening them, not black anymore but glowing red.

The looks on Sasuke's face said it all, this can't be a trick, no one else have this trait...this man is really...his brother.

Sasuke remembered when long ago, when he was still a child, king Kakashi showed him his red eyes in the mirror, and told him to never show it to anyone else, no matter what...and now he understands why...he do comes from the royal family who was killed long ago...so king Kakashi knew from the beguining...

Both Itachi and [name] noticed the change in Sasuke, yet he didnt say anything...he just looked closely at his brother's eyes, deeply...still looking emotionless...

"Where are you staying at now?", he finally spoke, putting his sword back into his sheath.

"We couldn't find a place to rent until now, we are just staying in a stable", Itachi said, his eyes back to their black color.

"I'll offer a place for you to stay at until I see and think more of what you have told me...next time I see you, I expect you'd be already have taken a bath"
