September 19th

"Y/N?" Lizzie asked lightly, placing her hand on my knee and waking me up.

I yawned and opened my eyes slowly, "I must have fallen back asleep," I said.

"Do you want breakfast? Tasha isn't awake yet," she replied, leaning her head on my knees.

I nodded, "she's always really upset today," I warned her, "since she's been old enough to compute death this day comes with a. lot of tears."

Lizzie nodded slowly, "and you? How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay, I think I've made peace with it, but I wanted to warn you because as soon as Nat starts crying, I'm going to start crying and then you're going to start crying," I smiled sadly.

"Come on then, let's have a moment of peace before the day starts to unravel," she replied, standing up and helping me up.

I nodded and followed her into the kitchen, replacing the Alexa on the side by the coffee machine and starting it up again to make two new fresh mugs of coffee and sitting on the kitchen side, watching Lizzie cracking a few eggs into a pan.

"Alexa play Strangers in the night by Frank Sinatra," Lizzie voiced.

I smiled and she turned around and winked at me, swaying her hips to the tune. She was in my black shirt from last night and there were a few purple kiss marks below her ear and down her neck to her chest that was hidden under my shirt.

Strangers in the night
Exchanging glances
Wond'ring in the night
What were the chances,
We'd be sharing love,
Before the night was through?

Something in your eyes was so inviting
Something in your smile was so exciting
Something in my heart told me
I must have you.

"Lizzie," I voiced.

She hummed and turned around to face me.

"Thank you," I whispered.

She furrowed her brows and walked towards me, standing between my legs, "what for?"

"Forgiving everything that I've done," I replied.

She nodded, "I love you Y/N, nothing is going to get between us again ... and if we ever have a umm- a similar issue we need to talk about it before we react."

"I agree," I smiled sadly, "I love you, Elizabeth."

"I love you too baby," she replied, standing on her tiptoes to kiss my lips softly, "while breakfast is on, we should probably cover our necks."

I giggled and nodded, "after you, m'lady."

She laughed and led me upstairs, turning around to make sure I was following her a few times before settling in front of her makeup mirror. I placed myself on her lap and took the green colour corrector from her hand and started on her neck, unbuttoning her shirt to work my way down to the middle of her breasts. Once it was blended, I covered it with foundation and smiled at the result.

"Good as new," I smirked, kissing her lips softly and buttoning back up her shirt.

She smiled against my lips and took the makeup from my hands to cover my neck too. I smiled when she started to blend it with a brush and finished each one with a light kiss, careful to not smudge the makeup she had just placed. Once she had finished, she did the shirt back up and placed her hands on my chest, smiling up at me.

"Perfect," she whispered.

"I thought it looked pretty perfect before," I smirked.

"I'm sure your daughter would disagree," she replied.
