The episode begins on a lovely warm day in Wartwood, with the sun shining all across the valley. Two dandelions peacefully float by the Plantar Farm as Anne and (Y/N)'s shadows are visible through one of the windows. Inside the kitchen, the two are adding the finishing touches to an omelette, with (Y/N) wrapping mushrooms, fried potatoes, and other vegetables with the cooked yolk, and Anne places a basil leaf on top.
Anne: (proud) Perfecto!
(Y/N): Just like how aunt always showed me.
As Anne and (Y/N) admire their combined cooking attempt together, Hop Pop and Polly sit at the dinner table, curious at what the two have made.
Polly: What do you two call these again?
Anne: (excited) Omelettes! (slides a plate forward with pride) Very popular where we're from!
(Y/N): There's different variations as well!
Hop Pop: (unsure) We'll see about that. (takes a bite, his eyes widen from perfection) Holy crabapples! Until today, I've been eating garbage!
As Hop Pop is mesmerised by the omelettes, Polly shoves her face in to give a try, and she too is amazed by the taste.
Polly: I see the future, and it's omelettes!
Suddenly, from upstairs, a fearful shout from Sprig is heard, leaving the others downstairs confused.
Polly: (confused) Wha?
Soon, Sprig falls down the stairs and lands onto his face, before getting back up and starts running around the house, still screaming. As he runs into the kitchen, he rushes next to Hop Pop and screams some more, but stops when he sees the omelettes.
Sprig: Oh, these look good!
Hop Pop: Omelettes.
Sprig: Huh. (gets back to screaming) It's happening!
Hop Pop: (grabs Sprig's face) Are you sure it's happening?
Sprig: (serious) Dead sure.
Anne: (confused) Is this a "we've gotta go now" kind of thing, or can we finish eating?
(Y/N): I'm fine with either answer.
Sprig: (points) Take it to go, Anne and (Y/n), cause we've got to go sound the alarm!
Anne: Okay. (gets out some containers and starts separating the omelettes) I'm just gonna separate the stuff so it retains the flavour and doesn't get soggy...
Polly: (yells) MOVE, ANNE!
Hop Pop: (annoyed) Come on, Anne, we better move on!
Sprig: (yells) ANNE, MOVE!
Anne: Okay, okay! (puts the omelettes away)
Hop Pop runs out of the house with Sprig on top of him, who's literally sounding like an alarm. Anne, who's holding Polly, gives them a startled look from the doorway as (Y/N) still has a confused look on his face. Sprig continues to make noise about something happening, as he frightens nearby creatures, before him and Hop Pop charge through a stream, and emerge completely dry.
Anne, Polly, and (Y/N) follow closely behind at a normal pace, using some stones in the stream to get across. After a few more minutes of Sprig's alarm going off, the whole town has gathered at the centre point, confused about the commotion.
Female Frog: What's going on?
Mayor Toadstool: Now what's this all about?
Before any more questions can rise, Sprig and Hop Pop finally arrive, with the latter falling to his knees as the former begins explaining the situation.
