Alayah was over the boys house because AJ invited her over. She was sat on the sofa with AJ's head on her lap. AJ was on his phone while she was playing with his hair. Sharky and Kenny were also in the room on their phones.
AJ asked her to come over because he was planning on asking her on a date and this time he didn't want to chicken out. Building up the courage, he asked her to go to his room with her. He would have done it in the living room, but he didn't want Sharky and Kenny listening in.
The two made their way to his room, Alayah sitting at AJ's desk and AJ on the bed. Alayah went on AJ's computer to put on music. She shuffled her playlist and 'walk away as the door slams' by Lil Peep and Lil Tracy came on.
"Layah." AJ said. Alayah hummed in response, spinning around in his chair to look at him. "Would you maybe... like to go to a carnival with me? Like just us?"
"You mean like a date?" Alayah asked as she saw AJ's face going slightly red.
"Uhm yeah."
AJ looked so nervous Alayah almost wanted to laugh, but not wanting him to think she was laughing at him, she responded, "Yeah sure!" she smiled. The two sorted out the time and Alayah had to eventually go home.
