I awoke the next morning my phone blaring on the bedside table, because unlike everyone else in the house I actually need my sleep and I didn't want to be late for the training. I made my way out of bed and decided to take a quick shower.

Noting we'd be out in the forest all day I decided on a tight pair of of jeans and an old top Alice lent me last week. Once showered and dressed I finally made way downstairs to find no one. I checked in the living room but still couldn't find them, so as a last resort I checked in the kitchen were I noticed a plate of bacon and eggs along with a cup of tea.

Making my way over to the kitchen I stand I also found a noted beside the eggs. 'Lexi, we left early and didn't want to disturb you whilst you were waking up, so I made you breakfast. Once your done come and meet us in the clearing around five minutes from the house. Love Esme.'

I smiled at the note and went about eating the breakfast she had made for me. They couldn't have left that long ago seeing as the food and my tea was still quite warm. Once finished I picked up the plate and cup and washed them before frowning on a pair of trainers I had brought down from my room and making my way into the woods.

Like Esme had said in her note the clearing was only a few minutes from the house and the moment I arrived I witnessed Emmet being frown to the ground by Jasper. Now that's a bit of a surprise. I wondered over to wear Bella stood not far from the rest of the family. "Hey." I gave her a side hug in greeting and she was more than happy to return it. "Hey, I was wondering wether you were coming."

I gave her a smile and chuckled. "They didn't want to disturbed me so they decided to leave whilst I got ready and ate breakfast." She nodded in understanding. Suddenly everyone came to a halt and when I turned my head I understood why. There were now a dozen maybe more giant wolves on the outskirts of the clearing and they were only getting closer.

I felt conflicted, on the one hand I loved wolves I thought they beautiful and majestic creatures, but on the other hand they were defiantly large enough to maul me to death. Jasper must have sensed my fear because he was the first one to turn to me. "Lexi it's alright, they're here to help." I was juts confused by his words, but then another wolf turned up out of nowhere and came up beside me and Bella.

Standing there frozen, not knowing if I should back away or hug the wolf, Bella spoke up giving me reassurance. "Lexi this Jake. He and his friends from last night can all shift into wolves." I looked from Jake to all the other wolves in the clearing, so they're all human as well. I should have expected that, seeing as vampires are also real what now, the Loch Ness monster.

Realising I was now ok the others went back to discussing how to defeat the newborn army and how best the wolves could defend them selves. Me and Bella just stuck to the side lines as this went on and I couldn't help but to ask. "Hey Jake, do you min if I?" I motioned to his fur asking if I could pet him. He gave me a slant nod which took as the get go and I gladly went ahead.

His fur was decently one of the softest things I had ever touched in my hole life. I reached my hand behind his ear and started to give him a scratch. I could tell by the look in his eye's he was trying not enjoy it but eventually he just gave up and gave me a toothy grin. Bella watched this and chuckled which earns her a light grumble from Jake and a small laugh from me.

Soon the session was over and Bella made her way back over to the jeep her and Edward arrived in I gave her smile and told her I'd see her tomorrow which she agreed and went to wait for Edward. I however made my way over to Esme and gave her a hug thanking her for breakfast which she gladly accepted.

Rose came over soon after and stared to talk. "So what are you doing for the rest of the day." I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw it was only one in the afternoon, but I also saw a message from Jane, asking if I was free to talk. "Well it's only the start of the afternoon and I have a message from Jane seeing if I want to chat." I gave her a smile and she returned it with a shrug. "Well when your finished with the call maybe me you and Alice could go and get a drink in town."

I couldn't help but slightly chuckle at that. "But you guy's don't drink. At least not my definition of a drink." Emmet came over and elaborated for her. "She means she want's to hang out." Rose gave Emmet a death glare but once he walked off back to the house she nodded to me agreeing with what he had said. "Sure then, that'd be great." She smiled and linked arms with me as we made our own way back to the house.

Now sitting at the desk in my room I dialled Jane's number. It took a few seconds of beeping until her voice finally came through. "Andy it's good to hear your voice again." I smiled into the phone. "Yeah it's nice to hear from you gain, so how are you and the guy's doing." Although I normally spoke with either Aro or Didyme, I would sometimes get calls from Jane or Alec, depending on who had the phone. At first it was something to get use to seeing as the two haven't quite taken up a part in the modern world, but over the past few weeks our talks had gone from slightly awkward to quite pleasant.

"We're doing well, Aro has placed us on a mission for the time being so I'm afraid I can't give you much of an update." I nodded my head even though she couldn't see me. "It's alright I'll probably just ask Aro or D the next time one of them calls." I could hear the smile in her voice when she next spoke. "How are you doing with the Cullens, if you need one of us to collect you we'd be more than hap-" I cut her off before she could continue. "No, no. Everything's great actually, none of you need to worry, especially not you and Alec. I care to much for the both of you to be worried."

It was strange the relationship the three of us had. I felt it the moment I met them in Voltera, it was strange but comforting pull which was unlike the one I had with Aro, but straggly similar. I had decided to ask Marcus about it over a call the other week and he told me he could seeing a strong friendship bond had formed the moment we met that day and only began to grow as we got to know one another.

I could a faint chuckle come from the other end of the phone, probably from Felix or Demitri as I'm sure the two could already see the twin's reactions. "Are the others alright to say high or are you personally uncharge of this call." I joked hoping it would elicit some type of smile from the girl I had come to now as close friend. "Very well." I heard her sigh, but non the less only a second had passed before I had received a hello from all three of the boy's.

"Hey guy's. I hope your missions not giving you too much trouble, or Jane for that matter." I could just imagine the type of aggravated pout that would come to the girls face any second now. "No. If anything she is keep Dimitri and Felix in line." Alec responded defending his sister. I couldn't help the slight chuckle. Looking at the time I realised I should probably get ready to go out with Alice and Rose. "I'll have to leave now, but I'm happy to hear your all alright."

I quickly hung up and grabbed boots and a jacket before heading downstairs were the two were waiting patiently for me to arrive. We took Alices car and spent the rest of the afternoon in town, enjoying each others company and eventually returning home with two bags for me, but at least ten for Rose and Alice. What did I expect.
