Jungkook could feel his days merging into a blur. Despite his best efforts, he hadn't seen much of y/n since his schedule became more demanding. Between contract obligations and his routine gaming sessions, it's like he just misses his window of opportunity to spend time with y/n. Though she hasn't outwardly expressed her concerns, Jungkook gets the feeling that y/n isn't too happy about his lack of presence.

"Maybe you should hire a manager." Tae suggests one afternoon.

It was Jungkook's first free afternoon and, to his misfortune, y/n went to her final interviewing process to solidify the job offer with Shiraishi.

He breathes out a sigh. "And what good would a manager do for someone who plays video games for a living?" Jungkook mutters dryly.

His mood has been in a delicate balance of prickly and tense. He could easily blame it on the fact that he's been working fairly nonstop, but ultimately since he hasn't had sex for about a week, he blames that above all else.

"A manager could lighten up the load, you oaf." Tae remarks before adding, "They could organize your schedule, manage the incoming and outgoing phone calls, be the person to represent in meetings you don't have to attend. I'm sure there's other things they do, but that's the gist of it. Although, I think that might be a personal assistant, but you get what I mean."

Jungkook breathes out an impressed hum of acknowledgment. He hadn't considered hiring someone for anything. Hell, he didn't think he was important enough to hire someone to take on matters like that. But the more he mulls over the idea, the more he understands that it might be the direction he'll have to take if he actually wants to enjoy a life outside of streaming. He hadn't realized just how busy things would get once he started taking on sponsorships. He's not complaining one bit, but the amount of time it takes to record content and edit them has become meticulous and tedious.

"It just seems surreal, y'know." He breathes out. "I mean, it wasn't long ago that I could barely get ten people to watch my content, but now there's thousands of people who wait for me to log on. And it's gotten to the point that I have to actually appoint mediators on a stream. It's weird, but in a good way." He explains.

Tae spares his friend a proud smile. "It was bound to happen. You're a charismatic guy who says some of the wildest shit when you're zoning out. Not to mention when you have y/n on a stream, her reactions are priceless" He laughs.

Jungkook rolls his eyes. "The upside to hiring someone would be freeing up my time to spend with y/n. She's been so supportive of me through all this that I kinda feel like a shitty boyfriend for not giving the attention she deserves."

Tae breathes out a laugh. "Yeah, it's probably best to not let that one go." Looking around, Tae asks, "Where is she anyway? I thought she was working from home for the time being."

"At her final interview with Shiraishi." Jungkook replies before adding, "I would've driven her myself, but she was full of nerves and wanted to go by herself so she could do her pep-talk routine."
