Challenge 2 Begins

Zodiac here, I been away because I was trying to focus on final exam, also I recently graduated. Happy graduation to class of 2023!!! College here we come!! And also more news, I actually made an outline for the first time in my line. I have most of season 2 already planned, as well as what I want. I usually just free write and ideas come to mind, but I'm going to try and follow that outline I made more often now. Also I'm currently working on the ending for this series (We're not going to be at that point for a long ass time though) and I'm trying to make an ending that would make sense and not be an ass pull, so wish me luck!!

Gloria: This is some actual baloney!! I already fainted twice!!
Korrina: -breathing heavily- I've t-to a-agree with you on that.
Honey: -chuckles- Hehe. It took me a couple tries when I first did this as well. Aura is all about connection. Connection with yourself and your Pokémon. Though that Ash boy is surely impressive, one of a kind actually. There's only been a very, and I mean very small group of people who actually completed mustard's first challenge on the first try. Most of those people are currently among the strongest trainers in the world
Bea: So what you're saying is that Ash already naturally leagues above us, right grandmother?
Honey: A tough way to put it, but you're right my little honey Bea
Gloria: Honey Bea? -tried to hold in her laughter-
Korrina: It's such a cute nickname!! -holding in her laugh but fails- HAHAHAHA!!
Bea: -blushed in embarrassment- Quit it!! Your nickname is far worse!!
Honey: Girls Girls! Focus on the task at hand or else Ash will be far beyond all of you
Korrina, Bea, and Gloria: Right!
Gloria: (I wonder what Ash is doing right now...)
-With Ash-
Lucario: Lu!! -gets slam against the wall-
Ash: Dammit. We still can't sense you!!
Mustard: It's ok, frustration will only make it harder to see. I'm using my own Lucario to make it a bit easier to see
Ash: Being blindfolded is a real struggle
Mustard: -chuckles- Don't worry, you and Lucario should pick it up fast. Remember, concentrate on my Lucario's aura, use that instead of your sight
Ash: ok -breaths in and out- (We have been doing this for 2 hours already, it's getting annoying taking a beating like this. That's why we'll get it this time Lucario!)
Mustard: Lucario go!
M's Lucario: -goes in swiftly about to land a kick on A's Lucario's face-
Ash: (There!! I see it, a hint of M's Lucario's aura) Quick Lucario duck!!
A's Lucario: Carraa!! -tried to duck but is too slow and gets kick back to the wall-
Mustard: Hahahah. Excellent job, that's the first time you were able to sense it coming, hats off to you. But remember Ash, in a Pokémon battle, something's speaking out what move your Pokémon is going to use will not be fast enough. That's why the best of the best trainers don't even need to call out moves for their Pokémon, that's how in sync they are. Of course, it takes many years of pain and hard work to get to that level. Even then, it's now full proof since it's hard to keep in sync for an entire match, it drains both the Pokémon and the trainers' stamina. But I have a strong feeling you will be able to reach that level much sooner than most
Ash: What makes you say that?
Mustard: You are already able to sense a hint of my Lucario's moving aura after only 2 hours. That alone tells me you will pick this up fast. All I'm requiring you to do here is to dodge Lucario's attacks for a few seconds without your sight
Ash: -sighs- Easier said than done -claps his hand- Alright!! Let's go again Lucario!!
Mustard: -strokes his beard- That's what I like to hear! Lucario gives them another aura sphere!
-M's Lucario aura sphere is launched in a straight path towards A's Lucario-
Ash: (There, I feel it coming! Lucario get ready, 3...2...1) Now!!
A's Lucario: -jumps over the aura sphere -
-Both Ash and Lucario takes off their blindfolds-
Ash: Alright!!
A's Lucario: Luuuuuu!!
-The high five-
Mustard: Impressive -chuckles- but it seems you still have much to learn
Ash: -senses something from behind and turns his head-
-An aura sphere pops right in front of Ash and Lucrio exploding in their faces-
Mustard: hehehehe!! You didn't see that coming did you
Ash: ow ow ow!
Mustard: You did good, so I'll show you something real cool -puts his fingers to his lips- Don't tell the girls about this, they might get jealous. Now follow me
-Mustard leads Ash out of the room taking Ash on a long walk until they arrive into a beautiful outside waterfall-
Mustard: Pretty isn't it?
Ash: This place has a waterfall!? Jeez, it's massive!!
Mustard: This enormous waterfall was built here 63 years ago for the sole purpose of training. We will comeback to this waterfall some other time, now let's focus on aura sphere
Ash: Aura sphere? What about it?
Mustard: Let me explain, Aura sphere is the perfect move for training aura sphere. To form it, it requires the pokemon to trannel their aura throughout their body and concentrate their aura into one single point. Make your Lucario use aura sphere
Ash: Ok, Lucario aura sphere!!
-Lucario shoots an aura sphere right at the waterfall blowing loads of water away-
Mustard: Good. Now notice the difference, remember to pay close attention. Lucario aura sphere!
-M's Lucario shoots an aura sphere in the same direction but 3x times as much water gets blown away-
Ash: Huh? (Those aura sphere's looked about the same size, but his produce more destructive force)
Mustard: The trick here is that there is no trick. Both the aura spheres are the exact same size, the difference is the concentration or density of the aura. Your lucario's aura sphere is more spread out, rigid, and lumpy. It's more of an oval than a perfect sphere. So what I want your Lucario to do is to make an aura sphere and hold it in place without messing up the sphere shape.
Ash: -nods- Ok, I understand that
Mustard: Good, Lucario showcase
M's Lucario: -nods, makes an aura sphere, and holds it in place-
Ash: -takes a deep breath and looks at Lucario- Alright, aura sphere!
A's Lucario: Raaaaahhhhhhh!! -focuses and makes an aura sphere-
Mustard: Hold it!
-A couple of seconds pass by as Lucario struggles to hold the shape of the sphere-
Mustard: Try again -uses a wooden stick to hit both Ash and Lucario on the head-
Ash:-holds his head tightly- Ow ow!! Why!? Where did you even get that from!?
Mustard: -hits his leg- FOCUS!! -strokes his beard- That was not a bad first try, Lucario held its shape for 16 seconds.
Ash: So it really has to be a completely perfect sphere?
Mustard: Yep, completely smooth all-round. Because once you learn how to perfect its shape, you can apply more aura into the sphere. I've set 3 milestones for you to overcome. Hold the sphere for 1 minute, then 3 minutes, and lastly 5 minutes.
Ash: -falls to the ground and smiles- This will be fun -laughs-
Mustard: Don't worry, I don't expect you to reach 3 minutes in one single day so take your time
Ash: What's after this?
Mustard: Ash my boy, you'll when you get there -smirks-
Ash: -smirks- Of course -gets up- Let's go again
A's Lucario: Raahhh! -smirks at Ash-
Ash: Aura sphere!!
