❝ tonight i shall have you. ❞

[ slightly mature themes ahead ]

"I Lied."

and then it happened.

yeosang's fangs grew impossibly longer, his head rearing back as he pierced the left side of the human's neck.

and once more, hongjoong belonged to the eldest vampire, the king of vamporia. and this time, there would be no escaping his destiny.

hongjoong's breathing became heavy, the room began spinning and blurring together.

hongjoong's lips parted in a silent scream. the pain was even more excruciating than the first time the deed had been done.

yeosang's fangs sunk twice as deep in the human's neck than before, once more releasing his venom, toxic to any vampire that dared try to take him.

hongjoong sobbed out as the king pulled away from him. he gripped his chin, turning him to face himself.

yeosang held the human, soothing him as he cried out, the pain was becoming unbearable.

"hush now, darling," the king sushed hongjoong gently. "there is one more thing before you rest," yeosang stroked the boy's hair before pulling his head back, emitting a gasp from him.

he then bit into his own wrist, then hongjoong's.

hongjoong, being too delirious of his surroundings, didn't flinch or trash against the king when he was forced to drink from him.

the vampire's blood tasted oddly sweet, hongjoong noticed. it was quite peculiar in his mind.

thereafter, the vampire drank from the human.

it was yet another symbol of their bond. it brought them closer to one another. all that was left for them to become one, was the courting.

black spots danced in hongjoong's vision as he swayed on his feet.

yeosang caught the human when he finally lost consciousness and stumbled forward.

it was to be expected for mortals to do so directly after being marked, as well as the blood bond. it was to help coincide with the pain and to prepare the human to complete physical bond when he awoke.

the vampire king gently laid the human on the bed and sat on the edge, watching.

now that the two were also bounded by blood, when hongjoong awoke, there would be a guarantee his need to complete the bond would outweigh the human's better judgement.

the blood exchange as well as the marking would act as a stimulant for his brain, unleashing dopamine in large amounts.

it would be a temporary solution for a long term issue and yeosang was well aware of the fact.

he would never gain hongjoong's trust. not to mention he would also never forgive him.

not that yeosang would blame the boy. he did have morals. he was aware that hongjoong would not ask for this if he were in his right mind.

he did not want to take the human against his will. he wanted to give him time to adjust, to trust the vampire king. perhaps even one day, grow fond of him.

and he knows this one act will ensure none of those things ever happens, but he cannot risk it.

vamporia was a large place. and other vampires, as well as creatures, lurked. no doubt they would take the boy away from yeosang for leverage if they had the opportunity.
