The youngest

  Oakley has always been the firecracker of the family, and short, smart, but tough girl. Oakley is a 23 year old and has always lived on the ranch. Oakley is branded she got branded after seeing something she wasn't supposed to her dad did it just to make sure she didn't run off like kayce. Her dad's ranch, which hopefully will one dad be hers. Her siblings and her had a it depends on the day kind of relationship. Kayce she hasn't seen since he left with his wife because they had a kid, Jamie thinks she is worthless and does nothing to help, and she hasn't seen Beth since she went to Utah. Her best relationship was with her oldest brother Lee. Lee knew nearly everything about Oakley. Lee knew about the little crush she had on the foreman, rip. Rip is a 36 year old man, he has black curls and blue eyes.  Oakley has crushed on him every since she was 13 years old. Lee thinks its dumb because we are 13 years apart, he also gives me crap about it non stop. I was always jealous of beth because she messed around with him but they never did anything. No one know but Lee about my crush.  It's a constant fight to keep this ranch going. Oakley has always be the jeans and boots girl and left the rest up to Beth. Beth is coming back into town. The reservation has stole our cattle.

  Mounting my horse named Casey we went off back to the main house to find daddy, he had just crashed the truck and trailer. I walked in the front door and Jamie was helping him with his head.
   "Damn it daddy." I say coming over to them.
    "I told him he needs a hospital, but no cowboys are the most stubborn people on planet earth." Jamie says
     "Well Jamie god made us that way because we have to be that way." I say back laughing.
    "Us?" He questioned.
    "Yeah Jamie I am a fucken cowboy, more then you ever have been." I snap back at him.
     "Please can my children just not fight for one day." Dad says upset.
     "Fine, I will go work." I say flicken Jamie It the head. I walk out the door and ride back down to the barn.
     "Hey Lee." I say
      "Hey Oakley, how's dad?"
      "Stubborn you know that."
       "Yeah well we have work to do, RIP COME HERE." He yells to rip who comes walking around the corner.
      "Yes, oh hey Oakley." Rip says giving me a nod.  I nod back and listen to him and Lee talk.
      "We need you to move the river." Lee says
      "Umm Pause sorry to kinda butt in but how the fuck is rip supposed to move the river?" I jump in
      "Dynamite." Rip says giving me a grin.
      "You wanna go move the river or come with me to get the cattle?" Lee asked
      " The stupid res fight I am good I will go with rip."I say and  Lee laughed
       "Rip, keep her safe." Lee yells and nodded towards rip.
       "You know I will Lee."  Rip yells back giving me a jester to follow him. I run after rip.
       "Woah who's that?" I say pointing to some skinny kid.
       "Oh shit thats Jimmy." He says sighing " Your late jimmy."
        "Uh yeah uh sorry. " Jimmy tells him and I laugh.
        "This is Jake you listen to what Jake says you here." Rip says pointing over to one of the hands.
       "You ready to blow shit up." Rip says laughing to me.
       "Rip when am I not ready to blow shit up." I say back. We mounted up and I watched all the trucks roll out I had a bad feeling about what was about to go down.

After going up the mountain we get to wear we are setting up.
    "Hey look I think I see trout." Jimmy yells
    "Shut the fuck up and get up here. " Rip yells back. I laughed at rips response. After setting the charges and moving back down we get to a good spot and rip blows the river.
    "Well shit I guess you really could move Rivers." I say sarcastically. We ride back down the mountain and I see people panicked back at the ranch. I run to my dad.
    "What the hell is going on?" I ask him.
    "We can't find lee." He replied as Jamie ran up and told him we were getting a helicopter in the air. "Wait no... I found him." My dad yells as he looks off to see kayce riding with Lee in his hands. I get a sinking feeling and I can feel it. Lee is gone.
