Chapter 8 : The Awaited Face Off

Karan and Harshad were going towards Simarsh's room. Harshad was worried about Moran's face-off after 4 years. On the other hand, Karan was having a weird feeling about this. Again, on the other side, Monami was changing her get-up. At last, Karan and Harshad reach the room. Harshad opens the door. Karan sees the back of a girl.
Mo : Kaun?
Ha : Mona mai.
Ka(in mind) : MONA!!!
Karan's mind was filled with different thoughts. Firstly the voice was familiar and the name Mona. He doesn't know what was going to happen. Sid comes out from the washroom and saw Karan.
Si : Karan...
Hearing Karan's name, Monami turns towards Karan. Karan was shocked to see Monami after 4 long years. They were looking at each other. Karan's eye was filled with tears and emotions. On the other hand, Monami's eye was filled with anger and hurt. At last, Monami breaks the eye lock.
Mo : Special Agent Karan Shergil behave yourself. Aur Harshu yeh kya hai?
Ha : Batra sir ki order tha. Karan bhi iss mission ki hissa hai.
Ka : Monami....
Mo : Ma'am.
Ka : Huh?
Mo : Bhul mat gaye mai aapki senior hu. IB Head Dr Monami Mahajan.
Sid also reveals his real identity.
Si : IB Officer Siddharth Ganju.
Karan was super shocked seeing the whole scenario but soon composed himself.
Ka : Jai hind ma'am. Jai hind, sir.
Simi : Jai hind.
Ha : Mission ki baare mai baat karti hai.
Mo : Ha, maine suna threat messages aarahi hai. Kya aap mujhe dikha sakti hai?
Ka : Ha, woh yeh ligiye.
Monami was looking through the messages. On the other hand, Karan's eyes were constant on Monami. Siddharth notices it and whispers to Karan.
Si : No. Don't dare. Bohot mushkil se move on kiya hai woh. Phir se tutne ki takat nahi hai usme.
Before Karan can say anything, Monami starts to speak.
Mo : Mujhe lagta hai koi personal reasons nahi hai terrorist ki.
Ha : Aisa kyu?
Mo : Dekh Harshu almost every messages ki last mai ek baat clearly likha hai. Yeh academy chordo.
Si : Aisa bhi to ho sakta hai. Parakram academy civilians ko training dene mai bohot accha kaam kar rahi hai. Isliye terrorist chahte hai iss academy baandh karne.
Mo : Aisa nahi.
Ka : Kyu?
Mo : 6th sense. Dekho PSAF ki aur bhi branches hai. So kyu baki jagah mai koi threat messages nahi aarahi hai? So its clear that reason is something else.
Karan was amused at Monami's intelligence. She was right.
Mo : Hum baad baat karti hai. Bohot raat hogaya.
Ka : Yes ma'am. Jai hind sir. Jai hind ma'am.
Simarsh : Jai hind.
