One morning Lucius went to the door super early confused who was knocking on it
When he opened it he saw barty oh no
"I see he was right you are here, what are you doing?" He says and Lucius was scared what if you walk down with Luciana and he hurt you both
"Narcissa and me agreed to take Draco out of the country to protect him during this war, so I was chosen to stay with him, so sorry but I'm not coming back I have to protect my son." Lucius says and Barty nods
"And your baby daughter?" Barty says and Lucius' eyes widen
"How do you know about Luciana." Lucius says grabbing his collar
"That wasn't hard info to get, if you think he doesn't know of your little muggle born thing you are very mistaken, we know and you took her out of the country before we could do anything to her, shame really the once great Lucius Malfoy has fallen to the depth of blood traitor." Barty says and Lucius wasn't happy at all and took his wand out ready to defend his family
"You will stay away from them." Lucius says and barty smiles
"Too bad we're in France I have to now, you got her away to safety." Barty says and Lucius smiles so happy he got you away to safety they can't touch you now
"I don't care how you think I sunk low y/n is the love of my life and I won't pass on my second chance with her all because of stupid blood purity, I'm done with lying I love y/n, my son and my daughter and I don't care what anyone else has to say about it." Lucius says as he takes his wand to Barty's neck "But I will hurt anyone who dares to try and hurt them, so scram and tell them I'm protecting my son as Narcissa asked or next time I see you, your a dead man." Lucius says and Barty left seems Lucius still got the intimidating and threatening parts of his past
Lucius closes and locks the door charms it to stay locked unless you, Lucius or Draco try and open the door
Lucius then walks upstairs and finds you and Luciana in Draco's room watching Luciana play with her toys
Lucius smiles and walked over and sat behind you wrapping his arms around you tightly never wanting to let go
You smile and melt into his arms as he kisses your cheek as you both just watch Draco with his sister
'Honestly even after the war is over it'll take time for y/n to be safe there again, so why don't we maybe just not go back for years to come, or we'll until Narcissa gets annoying and makes me come back with Draco, I like this life spending it with my family and not having to worry about a thing, why should we leave?'
