noa wasn't sure what to do, she wasn't apart of the conklin family so she couldn't go to them, she wasn't a fisher boy so she couldn't go there so instead she had cooped herself up in her and conrad's bedroom and the girl had finally figured out what she wanted and the only way to start was to start packing to head back to boston.

"hey noa um we're having dinner if you want to join" belly interrupted noa's silence with her invitation, she couldn't help but notice the girl packing away her things, was she leaving?

"oh yeah i will thanks belly" she smile curtly

noa zipped up her last bag before smiling to herself, she was proud of the choice she had made. as she made her way downstairs to join the dinner which seemed almost silent, the girl smiled in acknowledgement to everyone as she took her seat next to conrad, the boy turning to whisper to her,

"hey um can we talk?" his voice was soft

"yeah, after dinner?" he smiled and nodded at her response

after the awkward silence passed no one could stop laughing at dinner, sharing stories from summer trying to keep the mood up,

it was nice

the pair had finally reached the beach, standing in the place they were smiling and cuddling in not so long ago and now here they were discussing whether they should stay together,

"uh so i've been doing a lot of thinking" noa started, "and i love you but i don't think you're in love with me anymore, and before you say anything i don't mean you don't love me, you're just not in love, and that's okay"

"noa please i made a few mistakes can't we just figure this out"

"i have figured it out, well figured us out" she sighed, "you're somewhere else and that's fine, you need to explore that, you need to figure out what's going on with you and belly because i can't be with you until you do. but i need to figure out who elenoa is, i want to put myself first and not just please others and i need to start with this so... conrad we need to break up"

her words shattered the boy but not as much as he had broken her heart and he knew this was coming there was nothing he could do.

"are you sure there's nothing i can do?"

"no there's not i need to do this for me, i need to choose me, so thank you for giving me 11 months of your love and being loved by you was one of the best experiences i've had and belly would be lucky to get to enjoy it so thank you" noa smiled weakly "now i have to go my ride is waiting"

"go? where are you going?"

"i'm gonna head to boston and spend some time with my friends and family and just see what happens" noa smiled before leaning to give the boy a kiss on the cheek, "you'll see me around fisher"

"i hope so james" conrad smiled as the girl walked away, it was what was best for both of them

whoopsie sorry guys but it had to be done for the plot of book 2, yes there will be a second book i won't lie i'm a bit more excited for this one and its the whole reason i had to finish this one but i promise they will get their happily ever after you just have to be patient. now if you want to get a cheeky peek at book 2 it should be uploaded in like 5 minutes tops, also sorry these last chapters have been a bit messy
