Back from the dead

I opened my eyes and saw the light... Was I dead? Was I a ghost?
"She's awake!" I heard a voice saying as it slowly faded asleep
I placed my hand on my forehead and then sat up
"Ugh...my head..." I said as I moved my hair out of the way
Since when my hair was so long?

"Alexia?...is that you?" A familiar voice spoke to me as my eyes adjusted to the light
I turned my gaze over to the person next to me and I couldn't believe it...all this time I lived a lie?
"Am I dead?" I asked
"No, you're not.." The voice spoke as I stood there motionless
"Hugo?!" I yelled as I started to cry
"Yes Ale! It's me! Hugo!" Hugo said as I hugged him
"I-I don't know what to say!" I said as I started crying even more
"There, there...calm down" He spoke as he looked at me and whipped my tears
I smiled at him and then slapped him
"This is for all this time you were gone!" I said as I placed my hands on his face and pulled him closer and kissed his cheek
"And this is because I missed you so much!" I added as Hugo laughed softly
"I'm so sorry sister" He said as I let go of him

I laid back down and looked around
"What's going on?" I asked
"You were...dead" He added as I sighed
"I know.." I said
"But you where dead as well!" I added
"You crashed into that lake! They said that your body was never found!" I said
"Well...I didn't actually died.." He said as he sighed and stared at explain everything
"You see...the car did hurt me but the water carried me aside and I was found by a nice lady who took care of me." He said
"And?" I asked
"And she was a doctor, I was just like you...in a-" He spoke
"Coma...I got it" I added
"But I was in a coma for two years starting" He said as my eyes opened wide
"Unlike you...for 6 months.." He adds as my jaw dropped
"That explains why I got long hair" I said
"Yeah...and well you see...after I found out that mama and papa died, I started to look after you" Hugo continued
"When I found out that you were dead, I didn't give up on you, and here you are! All good and well!" He added as I smiled
"Thank you.." I said
"What happened while I was gone?" I asked
"I pressed charges against Isabella and we won, she's in prison for life!" Hugo added as I smiled again
"How about Ines and Amanda?" I asked
"Ines...she.." Hugo added
"She what?" I asked
"She's no longer with us..." He said as my smile faded
"Oh god..." I said
"And Amanda married Georg" He continued as I looked down
"Tom...Bill..." I said as I looked at my hands
"Who?" Hugo asked
"You know about them, don't you?" I asked
"Sorry I don't" He said
"I'll tell you more once we get home" I said
"Home...that sounds nice"
