"Hi!" I said smiling
"Come in!" Amanda said as she walked in
I went after her and Hugo was the last one to come inside
"What's up with you girls and huge house?!" Hugo asked as he looked around
"When you can afford them, why not buying them?" I asked as Hugo gave me a weird look
"We bought a juice!" Hugo added as Amanda smiled
"You didn't had to!" Amanda said as Georg looked at us
"What brings you guys here?" He asked
"They need the studio for a bit" Amanda answered as Georg nodded and then looked at me
"So can we go? We can spend the rest of the day together after that if you want to" I said as Amanda nodded
"You know the way" Amanda said as I went upstairs while Hugo followed me closely

We managed to recreate the soundtrack from the song and then we started to sing
"Ready?" I asked as Hugo nodded
"3, 2, 1...Go!" I said as I started the music
Hugo started to sing the song while I walked in the recording room
"Deliver us!~" Hugo sang as I grabbed a mic
"There's a land You promised us!" He continued as I set it up and then grabbed the headphones
Deliver us to the Promised Land!~" Hugo finished the verse as I listened closely
I tried to sing the first part but I didn't manage to pull it off
"My son, I have nothing I can give~..." I started singing softly
"But this chance that you may live..." I continued singing as I looked at Hugo
"I pray we'll meet again if He will..." I looked back and saw that Bill was looking at us along with Amanda, Georg, Tom and Gustav
"Deliver us!~" I almost forgot the verse
"Hear our prayer, deliver us!~" Hugo and I started to sing together
"From despair, these years of slavery grown too cruel to stand!~" I looked at Hugo and gave him a worried look as I wasn't sure if I can pull out my part
"Deliver us!~ There's a land You promised us!~" Hugo nodded as we continued singing
"Deliver us from the bondage and deliver us to the Promised Land~..." Hugo stopped singing, leaving me alone
I took a deep breath and then listened carefully to the song
"Hush now my baby, be still, love, don't cry~..." I started to sing as I tried to make my voice sound as broken as possible
"Sleep as you're rocked by the stream~..." I looked down and then at Hugo
"Sleep and remember my last lullaby... So I'll be with you when you dream~..." I sang as Hugo nodded
He took my hand in his and then smiled
I smiled back at him and then I took a deep breath
"River, oh, river, flow gently for me!~" I started to sing again as I looked at the others
"Such precious cargo you bear!~" I continued singing as I placed my hands on the headphones
"Do you know somewhere he can live free?~" I sang as I listened carefully
"River, deliver him there~..." I said as I looked down and took another deep breath
"Hee-ee-ee!~" I tried to break this part up in different sounds
"Hee-eee!~" I finished the part as I listened to the soundtrack
I smiled at Hugo and then looked at the others
"Well that was impressive" Bill said throughout a mic
I smiled and gave him a thumbs up while drinking some water
"We're not done with this song" Hugo said as he looked at me and nodded
"Brother, you're safe now and safe may you stay, for I have a prayer just for you~" I started to sing again in a pitch voice
Grow, baby brother, come back someday~" I continued singing
Come and deliver us, too~" I sang as I looked at Hugo
I cough and we started to sing the last verse
"Deliver us!~" Hugo and I started to sing together
"Send a shepherd to shepherd us and deliver us to the Promised Land!~" We continued
"Deliver us to the Promised Land~..." We sang as I didn't even took a breath
"Deliver us!~" We held the last note a little longer as the sound stopped
"Wooo! Go Rubins! Go!" Amanda said as I placed the headphones aside
"Thanks!" I said as I took another sip of water
I went back to that room and Amanda hugged me
"I didn't know you are that religious" Tom said as I giggled
"It's for our contract" Hugo said as he took my water bottle and drank some water too
"Well that was amazing my Egyptian girl" Tom added as I smiled
"Why thank you" I said as I went up to him and hugged him
"Uh-" Hugo said as he coughed
"Care to explain?" He asked
"At the table" I said as I smiled
