Slipping through my fingers all the time

I slept over at Amanda's house and woke up next to Tom in the morning
"Morning sunshine" I said as I smiled at Tom
He was looking down at me
"Morning love" He said as I wrapped my arm around his neck and kissed him
Tom kissed me back and wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me up
"Oh!" I said as I laughed softly
Tom giggled too and then he kissed me again
I kissed him back as he placed me on his lap
I wrapped my arms around his neck and then pulled away
"We'll need to get ready" I said as Tom hugged me
"I wanna stay with you" He said as I smiled
"After" I added as I got up and then went to the bathroom
Tom followed me as I went up the sink and washed my face
"I'm going home to take a shower and Hugo and we can go after that" I added as Tom nodded
"Tell Hugo I said hi" Tom said as I nodded and then went downstairs
I said hi to the others and then went back home

"Hugo!" I said as Hugo looked at me from the sofa
"I thought you'd never come" Hugo said as he gestured me to join him
"Come" He said as I walked up to him
I sat down and he handed me my mug of coffee
I smiled and grabbed it
"Thank you Hugo" I said as Hugo nodded
I took a sip of my coffee and then placed the mug down
"Ale, I need to talk with you" Hugo said as I looked at him
"What's up?" I asked as Hugo grabbed me and placed me in between his legs
He hugged me and held me tight
I was a little confused and then looked up at him
"Schoolbag in hand, she leaves home in the early morning.." Hugo stated to sing as I heard him sniffing
"Waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile.." He continued singing as I looked up at him and saw him crying
I bit my lip and tried to hold my tears in
"I watch her go with a surge of that well-known sadness...And I have to sit down for a while" He looked at me as he sang
I started to cry too and laid down on his chest
"The feeling that I'm losing her forever~" I joined Hugo as we shared a moment with each other
"And without really entering her world~..." Hugo hugged me tight as we continued singing
"I'm glad whenever I can share her laughter, that funny little girl~..." We both sang as I looked back at him

"Slipping through my fingers all the time, I try to capture every minute~" We continue to sing
"The feeling in it...Slipping through my fingers all the time~" Hugo held me more tightly than before
"Do I really see what's in her mind?" I stopped singing and whipped my tears aside
"Each time I think I'm close to knowing, she keeps on growing~" Hugo sang alone as I placed my hands on his
"Slipping through my fingers all the time~..." He continued as I took a deep breath
"Sometimes I wish that I could freeze the picture~..." I started to sing alone as I looked up at Hugo, who was crying
"And save it from the funny tricks of time..." Hugo joined me as he held me tight
"Slipping through my fingers~..." We both sang and cry together

"Ale... I'm not ready to let her grow.." Hugo added as he sniffed
"I feel like I'm going to die.." He continued as I looked at him
"What?" I asked
"No, no, no!" I said as I stood up
"I just got you for a few months and now you say this?!" I asked as Hugo looked away
"Last time you said that you were in a car crash!" I said as Hugo sighed
"I just had a weird dream.." Hugo added as he looked at me
"Fuck the dreams Hug'!" I said as I sniffed
"I'm not loosing you again!" I continued as I sat down
"I'm sorry Ale..I just can't hide from you" He said as I sighed and nodded
"I understand..."
