You swung open the door quite hardly as if almost hit the boy behind it coming from the kitchen.
❝ Hey darling- WOAH! woah. are you okay love? ❞ he asked, taking the bags from your hands.
You stood there for a few seconds, before letting out a grunt, walking over to the couch and plopping yourself on it with a heavy sigh.
Yechan looked at you while all that happened and shook his head. ❝ Typical. ❞ he murmered.
He came over to the couch and sat down, patting your head, ❝ What happened this time? ❞ he asked calmly.
You mumbled nothingness and looked up at him, ❝ I saved some random doofus who turned out to be that jerk from earlier. ❞
His eyebrows scrunched up, nodding in response before he asked, ❝ From..? ❞
❝ Almost getting turned into a pancake from a speeding car. ❞ you muttered.
You felt Yechan's hand stop when you said that, ❝ Uh huh.. ❞
You notice his change in movement and decided to ask, ❝ You know him don't you? ❞ you say as he starts to avoid eye contact. not great at being non-suspicious.
❝ I don't know what you're talking about. ❞ what a horrible liar he was too.
❝ Is he a friend or something? classmate? local customer? bad roommate? ❞
He glances at you and muttered, ❝ He's just a someone. ❞
❝ A someone you won't tell me about.. come on!! I thought we promised that we'd tell each other everything! ❞
The boy sighs, you guys did promise that since highschool. not just from dating but when you were friends. ❝ If you want me to keep that promise, I want you too as well on this... ❞ he held up his pinkie and in habit you held yours which crossed.
He glances around before pulling up in a hug ( a weird position but you didn't mind ) and whispered, ❝ I don't like him very much as a friend, he's was very quiet when I met him. and he especially hard to get to know when training. ❞
❝ Training? in what, school? ❞
The boy shook his head as sighs again, ❝ So maybe I broke our promised years ago, cause uhhhhh- ❞
❝ Crime. ok look, I know you know about how dangerous this crazy city is and how there's gangs and mafias and whatnot right? and possibly, I thinm you just saved the fucking crime lords son and I'm possibly apart of their stupid gang since who knows how long. ❞ he says out loud before being taken aback from himself.
He stared at you as he saw you stare back at him saying nothing. ❝ Darling.. I know I broke a long time promise and none of this makes sense, and I defintely know you're ready to beat my ass but it was for the best- ❞
❝ Not surprised. ❞
❝ I know it's horrible to find out like... wait what- ❞
You phone buzzed as you kept your eyes on Yechan while grabbing your phone.

You blink multiple times as your lips pursed at the thought of how he got your number in the first place. you glance over your shoulder as Yechan was reading the texts along.
He rolled his eyes, as he took your hand to walk over to the door, ❝ I'm so gonna kill him once we get there. ❞
