(In this part of the story, Imma make minor changes from the original story, about team CFVY actually making it to the ball dance. I just want Sasuke to have a bit more character development outside the original crew.)
Dorm building rooftops, Sasuke
It had been a monotonous day for Sasuke. With nothing pressing on his schedule, he spent his time training and sharpening his skills.
Currently, he was engaged in a sparring session with his clones, his Sharingan activated. The clones charged at him with the intent to overwhelm and defeat their original. Despite their efforts, they were no match for Sasuke's skill. Each clone dissipated into smoke with every precise strike Sasuke delivered.
As he finished his training, he heard the sound of the rooftop door opening. It was Yang, her curiosity evident in her voice.
"Ohhh! So this is where you've been training, huh?"
Sasuke acknowledged her presence with a nod and, without looking, threw a set of shurikens at a wooden plank, hitting the target with flawless accuracy.
"Ooo, impressive! Can I try?" Yang asked, her excitement palpable as she approached her brother.
"....Okay. Come here," Sasuke replied, gesturing for her to join him. Yang eagerly walked over and took one of the shurikens, examining it closely.
"How do you throw these?" she inquired, holding up the tiny projectile with a look of wonder. "They seem so small!"
"They're effective for quick, silent takedowns and immobilizing limbs," Sasuke explained confidently. Yang stared at him with a mixture of fascination and skepticism.
"Jeez, did someone shat in your cereal? Why use these when you can shoot electricity from your fingertips or wield your sword?" Yang asked, clearly puzzled.
"These allow me to strike without drawing attention and conserve my chakr- EHEM- I mean semblence." Sasuke replied as he cleared his throat.
"Hmm, okay... I'll give it a shot," Yang said with determination. She held her arm back, preparing to throw the shuriken.
She threw the shuriken, but it veered off course and missed the wooden board entirely.
"Yeah, I'm definitely not cut out for this," Yang muttered, going through the stages of acceptance in mere seconds. "Soo... are you going to the dance?" she asked, trying to steer the conversation.
Sasuke threw a kunai with precision, hitting the target on the wooden board dead center. "No. I don't think so," he responded, his voice resolute.
"Oh, come on! It'll be fun, I promise!" Yang insisted, her enthusiasm undeterred as she tried to convince him.
"I dislike parties, and you know that," Sasuke replied, maintaining his stance.
"It'll be different this time! You'll have friends there!" Yang countered, undeterred.
"Hn... I don't... I don't want to go to the dance."
"I've already persuaded Blake to go. What makes you think I'll stop now?"
".... Sigh Fine. I'll go to the dance," Sasuke conceded, but Yang cut him off before he could say more.
"Great! We'll start decorating the ballroom tomorrow. See you there, Sasuke!" Yang said cheerfully as she headed back into the building, leaving Sasuke alone on the rooftop.
'I agreed to go to the dance, but not to decorate,' Sasuke grumbled to himself as he resumed his training, his thoughts focused on the tasks ahead.
