Vale, Rose Manor, Far Future
"Ohh~! So that's how Dad became the national hero!" A young girl, Sarada, sat eagerly on the lap of an older Weiss. The warmth of nostalgia enveloped them as Weiss smiled softly.
"Yes, Sarada. He was—and still is—our hero," Weiss replied, ruffling Sarada's hair affectionately.
Sarada beamed up at her mother, her wide eyes sparkling with admiration. "Wow, Mom... I can't believe he was so young when he took on such a big responsibility! What was he like back then?"
Weiss chuckled softly, leaning back in her chair as fond memories washed over her. "He was a lot like you—full of determination and courage, but also a bit unsure of himself. The world was a much darker place, and he had to grow up quickly."
Sarada tilted her head, her curiosity piqued. "Did he ever get scared? Did you help him?"
Weiss nodded, her expression turning thoughtful. "Of course he did. He faced challenges that seemed insurmountable, and there were times when I worried about him. But we all supported each other—Qrow, the team, even the students at Beacon. We became a family, fighting together against the darkness."
"Did you two always get along?" Sarada asked, her brow furrowing slightly.
Weiss laughed again, a warm sound that filled the room. "Not at first! We had our disagreements and misunderstandings. But over time, we learned to trust and rely on one another. That bond became our greatest strength."
Sarada's eyes sparkled with mischief. "So, you mean to tell me that even heroes can have fights?"
"Absolutely!" Weiss replied, a playful grin on her face. "We were a team, after all. We had our share of disagreements, but we always made up. Deep down, we cared for each other, and that's what true friendship is about."
"Wow! I can't wait to be a hero like Dad!" Sarada exclaimed, her excitement palpable. "I want to fight monsters and protect people!"
Weiss's heart swelled with pride as she looked at Sarada, seeing the fire of determination in her eyes.
Sarada nodded vigorously, her small fist clenched in determination. "I promise! I'll make you proud!"
Weiss reached out, pulling Sarada into a gentle embrace. "You already do, sweetheart. Just be yourself, and you'll be just fine."
As they sat together, the warm glow of memories enveloped them. Weiss felt a deep sense of fulfillment, having witnessed Sasuke grow into the hero he was today. Now, she was passing that legacy on to the next generation. The future felt bright, and she was ready to face it with Sarada by her side.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, gaining Sarada's attention, and Weiss's.
"That must be Big Sister Hana!" Sarada beamed in excitement, her tutor and Sasuke's cousin was here.
Sarada leaped off her mother's lap, racing down the stairs.
"Hey, slow down! You'll hurt yourself!" Weiss warned, her motherly instinct kicking in as she followed after her daughter.
"Sorry, Mom! I couldn't help it! Big Sis Hana told me she'd bring me a gift the next time we met!" Sarada called back, her laughter echoing through the hallway.
As Weiss reached the bottom of the stairs, she found Sarada eagerly peering through the peephole. The anticipation was palpable, and Weiss couldn't help but chuckle at the sight.
When the door swung open, Hana stood there with a radiant smile, holding a colorful gift-wrapped box. "Surprise!" she exclaimed, kneeling down to Sarada's level. "I brought you something special!"
