I'm searching for something
That I can reach
Something that calls to me
And something I can't see
A love so kind
And a love so deep
I search and search for you,
Lost to the sea
I can't be
The one you need

You need to see
The truth of me
At last, I'll show you
Who I can be

It's hard for me to tell you this
But I'll do my best, tonight,
You'll finally understand
How much I've loved you
And how much
You love me

But it may seem like
Sometimes we don't understand
How things work or how we can help
But it seems like someday,
We shall be changed
And fade
