My eyes widened and I stared at the wall letting my body fall onto a chair
I started faking a panic attack and Lucas came running to me trying to help me breath normally again
I started breathing normally again and stood up, I took my bag and started walking towards the exit
«RENE» Alexandra yelled and I just started walking faster

I got out of the building and ran towards a quiet place, I took some water from my bag and destroyed my mascara

Giovanni came near me and I pushed myself further onto the wall

When he stopped singing I realised I stopped crying and shaking, the fuck is wrong with me
Just then I realised Alexandra, Lucas and Nicholas had walked to us
«So many years later and you still sing Eminem to her to calm her down» Nicholas said and rolled his eyes and Alexandra hit him
«Rene? Do you want us to drop you off somewhere?» Lucas asked
«Uh, no, thank you»
I stood up and started walking towards my car
When I got to the door I turned around and saw them looking at me and I waved awkwardly
I got inside and started driving away
After about five minutes I dialed bluebell's number

«What problem?» Nicholas asked confused
«How are we gonna tell her that our family rules the second strongest mafia, that she's a mafia princess, that she was kidnapped, and most importantly, that if people find out she's our sister she'll surely be in danger, she already is, Giovanni sang to her for fuck's sake, he held her freaking hand» I hate to admit that she has a point
«We will figure it out» Nicholas said and Alexandra scoffed
«Really? You think she'll be willing to stay in contact with people that torture and kill and blackmail and sell drugs and guns for living, and» she said and sighed
«She doesn't know us Nick, what if she thinks we harm the innocent? What if she thinks we are involved in human trafficking? What if . . . what if she hates us?» Alexandra was now crying, Nicholas ran a hand through his hair and Giovanni just stared at the celling
«What happens when she learns about our pasts? Does she even know that mafias are an actual thing?»
«Of course she does Alex, she works for Martinez. Santiago. Fucking. Martinez.» Nicholas yelled
Alexandra's eyes snapped open and she glared at him, she stood up and I have to admit, no one in our family is short and Alex isn't the exception, 5'11 barefoot, she usually wears 4 inches heels, whenever she wears her favourite ones she can tower me, a 6'2 man
«That doesn't mean she's involved with his mafia in ANY WAY. WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HER, nothing» the realisation hit her and she let her body fall back onto the couch while tears ran down her cheeks

Julie walked in to my room, trembling with fear
I stared at her and told her to strip out of her clothes when my phone rang
