We have just finished dinner and are still sitting at the dinner table
Alexandra is drinking some wine, Lucas is slightly smashing a potato, Nicholas was staring at me with an unreadable expression while Giovanni, who's sitting beside me, is watching cat videos

I honestly quit, I'll just start with my plan
«So, when were you planning to tell me you own the Italian mafia and are also family members of the Greek one?» I asked and all their heads snapped at my direction
«How- How'd you know?» Lucas asked with wide eyes
«A friend of mine told me about you» I said truthfully
«He had helped me escape the Germans» I said and Alexandra stared at me
«And who would that be?» Nicholas asked
«The old bratva don» I said and smiled at him
«Do you by any chance know who the new one is?» Giovanni asked and drank a bit water
«Uh huh, but I don't think I should tell you, since it's meant to be known to only few people» Giovanni nodded
«So are you in-» Lucas started and I just nodded
«Did not expect that» Alexandra said and drank whatever was left of her wine
«I guess now you know the truth and can start calling me by my actual name» I said and they all turned towards me once more
«Your what?» Lucas asked confused
«My name, Rene is a fake one, close to the actual one, Irene»
«So you knew your actual name this whole time» Nicholas asked dumbfounded
«Of course I did, I just nee-» a bark was heard
A husky ran into the room sprinting towards me and jumping onto me
«Death, come here boy» Lucas said and the dog ran to him
«That dog has hated me since he was a puppy but the moment he meets Irene he runs to her and jumps to her arms? Unbelievable» Nicholas said and glared at the dog
«Well I guess I should get going, I'll see you soon, maybe you could come by my house and we could have dinner» I proposed and took my purse
«Why don't you stay here tonight? We could get to know each other more and-»
«It sounds like an amazing offer Lucas but I need to get to the hospital, a really close friend of mine was hospitalised and she's honestly like a sister» I said and smiled at him
