Leaving me alone with uncertainty
No guiding hand to hold
All alone to survive in a world so cold
I was a child and I searched for your love
Yearned for your presence like a hand in a glove
But why did you leave me? Where did you go?
Leaving me with a heart that feels so low
I was only a child when you left me
Wounded and lost in misery
Was it my fault or a choice you made?
Your decision made me feel betrayed
