With each passing day, the urge of letting you go grows
Yet my stupid heart still yearns for you and it surely knows
No matter how I paint a facade, a mask to hide the pain
My love for you will continue to reign
Whenever I close my eyes and chase away our memories
They persist like whispers on the breeze
The thoughts of you seep through the cracks of my being
Leaving no room for forgetting
So I admit, I cannot let you go
Coz' the more I try, the more it grow
Even if my mind wants to restrain
The thoughts of you will remain
