Remember Me on Your Shelves

"May your love for literature grow even more." Her sweet voice echoes in my ears as I stare at her angelic face.

How I love to spend time with her every day. Hearing her laugh, seeing her smile, smelling her scent as we read the pieces she had written.

I plant kisses on her face and whisper in her ears, "I will forever love you, honey."

She plastered a smile and suddenly kissed my cheeks. "Even when the pages got stained or torn, I hope you still keep it in your heart."

"Even when the pages got burned,
I can still read the lines in my mind,
honey." I replied as I plastered a smile.

I looked at her as she wrote down on her notepad and read what she had written.

I know you'll never forget me
even when the years passed by,
you will remember me on your
shelves and you'll read me again.

I can see her face turn red and giggle when she tries to hide it.

"I will never get tired of reading your pieces, honey. We will read it together as the years pass by, so how can I forget you, hmm?" before she could utter a single word, I kissed her on the lips.
