They make it over to Sharon's place. As they walk past the security guards they walk into the first room which was like a museum of art. Hallie frowns wondering how did Sharon get all of this if she is on the run?
" Looks like breaking all those laws is treating you well," Sam retorts looking around.
Sharon smirks and gestures, "I thought if I had to hustle, might as well enjoy the life of a real hustler. You know how much I'll get for a real Monet?"
Sam chuckles shaking his head, "Deactivate your hustle mode. You sell fake Monets."
"No. She means real. This gallery is specialized in stolen artwork. Monet. Van Gogh. Classics," Zemo says walking past Sam who stops in front of a painting taking his phone out.
"It's true. You know, half the artwork in museums like the Louvre is fake. Real stuff sits in places like this," Bucky nods towards all the artwork.
"How'd she manage to get all the real ones?" Aurora frowns.
"Had to make a living somehow," Bucky replies.
"Okay, guys, I see what you're doing. You're more worldly than good old Sam," Sam states as he googles. Hallie shakes her head amused.
"Yeah. What's Google say?" Bucky looks at Sam as he walks past him.
Sam looks up and down between his phone and the painting, "No shit."
"Come on. You two need to change. I'm hosting clients in an hour. Hallie and Aurora are fine dressed the way they are," Sharon says. They all follow her to a different room. Bucky goes and picks out an outfit to change in. Once he changes he goes and sits on the couch with Aurora while Hallie helps Sam pick an outfit out. Sharon walks in, "Much better."
"What's going on, Sharon? You don't ever wanna come back home?" Sam asks as he puts a shirt on.
"They'll lock me up if I step foot back in the States. Madripoor doesn't allow extradition," Sharon replies walking over to her desk and grabs her phone putting it in her pocket.
"Look, I'm sorry we didn't call, but after The Blip and the chaos, I just..." Sam says and Sharon cuts him off.
"Look, you know the whole hero thing is a joke, right?" Sharon asks making them frown. "The way you gave up that shield, deep down, you must know it's all hypocrisy."
Sam stares at Sharon not knowing how to respond. "Wow... she turned into a real bitch," Hallie whispers to her and Sam as Sharon walks away.
"He knows. And not so deep down," Zemo says holding his drink.
"By the way, how is the new Cap?" Sharon asks and everyone rolls their eyes.
"Horrible," Aurora states.
"An asshole," Hallie adds.
Bucky shakes his head, "Don't get me started."
Sharon scoffs as she makes her way to the couch, "Please. You buy into all that stars and stripes bullshit. Before you were his pet psychopath, you were Mr. America! Cap's best friend." Sharon sits on the other side of Bucky sitting a little to close for comfort as she starts chuckling shaking her head.
