Hallie catches up to Sam as they fly next to the helicopter. The guy shoots at the and Sam blocks with the shield. The woman passenger, Ayla, receives a message on her phone from Sam. Put in your earbud. Ayla cooperates and puts the earbud in.
"A little birdie told me you know how to fly a helicopter," Sam says. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" Sam yells as the helicopter then swings to the side knocking Sam down hitting giant tubes that comes crushing down on him as he hits the water.
"Sam!" Hallie yells as Sam goes underwater. She could see a blue light just below the surface before Sam reappears flying up. "Boy, you just earned this ass-whoopin'."
Redwing flies off Sam and goes to the side of the helicopter. "Okay. What we're gonna do requires perfect timing. We're gonna count down from five. When we get to one, you're gonna grab the control. Okay?"
"You got this Ayla," Hallie encourages.
"Five...Four...Three...Two..." Ayla whispers. Sam gets the shield and spins forward using the momentum to throw the shield at the helicopter door breaking it as Sam then flies catches the shield and flies through the opening pushing the guy out of the helicopter. Ayla quickly gets into the drivers seat and gets control of the helicopter as Sam flies down and throws the guy in the water.
"Nice work, Ayla," Hallie says and she could see Ayla smile. Hallie then speaks into the comms, "Chopper is all clear. What about your guys end?"
"We could use help over here," Aurora answers.
"Coming right up," Hallie responds as the two of them fly over to help.
John is on a knee catching his breath before he gets up and throws his shield fighting off Karli and another flag smasher. He chokes the other and throws her. Karli goes to run to the last van that is screaming for help but John stops her as he pushes her with his shield and then head butts her. Karli jumps and kicks John but it doesn't do anything as he continues walking forwards and punches her with the shield. Karli runs and slides under poles that are holding the construction sight up. John walks around and punches her with his shield again making her fall back. Karli kicks John before John grabs her arm and hits it with his shield. Karli falls down and dodges John's swings. Karli jumps onto the rails and grabs onto one as she swings herself around and kicks John in the face knocking him on the ground. Karli runs back to the van and moves the barricade before she gets into the van and drives off. People watch on the side as she drives towards a gate and jumps out before the van crashes through and stops at the very edge of the construction side about to fall at any moment.
Bucky and Aurora stare up in shock as people start screaming.
"Shit," Aurora mutters as the metal bars underneath the van are about to snap any moment as the van slowly leans forward. John runs and see's the van and looks at Karli who is standing on the sidelines watching. He hesitates as he looks back and forth before ultimately making the right decision and throwing his shield down to go help the people. His shield falls down next to Bucky and Aurora who stare up as John is trying to pull the van up so it won't fall. He is actually doing it and the van moves backwards on steadier ground until a flag smasher runs up to John. John pushes him away but then Karli jumps onto John's back. John yells as another guy pulls both of them and they fall down. The van now goes forward faster almost half of it is leaning down and about to crash down on all of them. It starts to fall and out of nowhere Sam and Hallie are now in front of the van from underneath and are pushing it up as they are using their jets to give them some more strength. They attach small devices onto the van helping them.
