The next morning arrives and Hallie and Sam are already working on the boat while Bucky and Aurora are still sleeping. Aurora's eyes flicker open as she begins to wake up. She changes into a fresh change of clothes seeing that Hallie let her borrow an outfit and heads out of the room to see AJ and Cass playing with the shield. Aurora chuckles to herself as she watches in amusement as they wake Bucky up. Bucky looks over at the two boys.
"Hey!" Bucky says gaining their attention. The two look over and see Bucky giving a small wave.
"Put it back," AJ says frantically as they hurry to put the shield back in the cover. "Hurry, hurry!" the two run away leaving the shield half covered on the ground and almost run into Aurora. Bucky chuckles.
"Sorry!" Cass says as they run back to the room. Aurora chuckles, "All good."
Aurora walks out more and Bucky looks at her and smiles, "Good morning."
"Morning," Aurora smiles. "So who's couch if comfier. Theirs or mine?"
Bucky chuckles, "Definitely yours."
Aurora chuckles, "Good to know. Are Sam and Hallie already up?"
"I think so. Want to go down there now?" Bucky asks and Aurora nods.
"Yeah lets go," Aurora says and Bucky gets off the couch. As they are about to head out the door Bucky stops and turns to her. "When this whole thing with Karli is over. Would you like to go another date? Like go to dinner or something?"
Aurora smiles, "Yeah I'd love that."
Bucky smiles, "Great." Bucky starts to lean down and Aurora leans up closing the gap as their lips connect in a short but sweet kiss. The two pull apart smiling at each other before they head out the door and walk towards the boat. It was still sunrise when they walked into the boat.
Sam was trying tighten some screws while Hallie was loosening the bolts on the other side. Buck and Aurora walk down and Bucky holds onto the pry bar Sam was holding onto.
"Push the stopper," Sam instructs and Bucky pushes it up. "Oh, in there."
After Sam has tightened his end, Bucky lifts the tool up and walks to the side. "Thanks," Sam says. "Yep," Bucky replies. For a couple of hours the four of them continued to work on the boat.
Later in the morning, Sam and Bucky are trying to work on the water pump even after Hallie warned Sam that Sarah said not to. Hallie and Aurora are just watching them fail.
"Okay, so..." Sam says and Sarah starts walking towards them, "Excuse me. No!"
"There should be a three-sixteenths bolt that goes in the big gear," Sam points and Bucky shakes his head putting the instructions down, "Nope."
"Uh-huh. No. No," Sarah says standing in front of them.
