It is late at night and the group has separated for the night. Aurora and Bucky walk down the street after changing into more comfortable clothing. Aurora notices Bucky is unusually more quiet then usual. Aurora looks at him, "You okay?"
Bucky nods, "Yeah... I've been thinking about what Sam told me the other day. About giving others closure. And he's right."
"Yuri," Aurora says understanding where this conversation is heading.
Bucky nods, "He deserves to know the truth."
Aurora gives him a small smile, "Do you want moral support?"
Bucky hesitates for a moment before nodding, "That'd be great."
The two of them head over to Yuri's apartment hoping he still is awake. They walk down the hallway and to his door. Bucky sighs before knocking on the door. Yuri opens the door and gives them a surprised look, "Hey, what are you two doing here?"
"It's late, come in before someone call the cops," Yuri says as he makes way for them to enter. The two enter Yuri's apartment and Bucky's eyes instantly look over at the little memorial.
"What are you doing here? It's not Wednesday," Yuri says confused and takes a closer look at Aurora and frowns, "What happened? Are you okay? Why do you have burn marks all over your face?"
"Oh.. uh... long story but I'm okay," Aurora replies giving him a small smile.
"I, uh, I have to tell you something," Bucky hesitantly says and Yuri nods encouraging him to go on. Aurora holds Bucky's right hand giving it a small squeeze encouraging him.
"About your son," Bucky says and Yuri frowns in confusion as they go and sit down. Bucky and Aurora sit across from Yuri. Bucky takes his glove off revealing his metal hand.
Bucky sighs, "He was murdered."
"What?" Yuri frowns.
"By the Winter Soldier," Bucky says as his voice gets shaky. "And that was me."
Yuri's eyes get watery as he whispers in a shaky voice, "Why?"
"I didn't have a choice," Bucky says apologetically as he looks down. Yuri stares in shock before looking down shaking his head. Aurora looks at both of them as she feels horrible for the situation they were in.
"I'm sorry," Bucky whispers as he gets up to leave. He looks at Aurora with a questioning look.
"Give me a minute?" Aurora asks and Bucky nods as he slowly leaves the apartment.
Aurora looks at Yuri who is heartbroken. Yuri looks at her with watery eyes, "Why? Why did he do it?"
"Yuri... he didn't have a choice. He was captured by Hydra during WWII where he was a prisoner of war. He's Steve Rogers best friend. Bucky was brainwashed by Hydra and was forced to fight for over 80 years. He didn't have a choice. He got free from the brainwashing right before Thanos' snap. He got snapped and once he got back he has been trying to make amends. You were the hardest one for him," Aurora explains. "I know this doesn't make it any easier but Bucky was also the victim. And you probably hate him right now. But just know Hydra is the one to blame."
