god i hated how sappy that ending went but i just wanted to make it to 1750 words so i didn't mentally disappoint myself lmao. but brooks and percy's canon ending is that she catches up on her schoolwork well enough to get accepted into ucla and she plays college and professional volleyball and girlbosses that because she's brooklyn hayward. she makes enough bank to buy herself a plane and after retiring she becomes a pilot. percy works at an aquarium but he's also her malewife bc do you think brooklyn knows how to do laundry and cook?? no. xander also lives near them and it's just a fun time. also they're the fun aunt and uncle because i can't imagine them with kids. too bad francesca hayward.

ALSO THERES A PLOT HOLE ISTG IM SO STUPID LITERALLY I MENTION SO MANY TIMES THAT BROOKLYN'S OLDER THAN PERCY BUT SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE YOUNGER THAN HIM KILL ME NOW so yeah i headcanon that she's one of those october babies that are in the grade above when they're supposed to be because their parents put them there and they're younger but in the same grade it's so unfair and haha im totally not self projecting
