Milo hyperventilating is probably the most scariest things ive ever dealt with.
Trying to calm him down i start rocking him while whispering that its going to be okay

Its breaking me watching him cry, i just want to take all his pain
He falls asleep in my arms, just as he closes his eyes his phone starts ringing
I answer without looking and hear a womens voice only to check the name which says "Pookie bear"

"Sup hoe" a women starts talking about her latest hookup
"Who is this" i ask only to be met with a gasp
"Athena and whos this ho?" She replied making me roll my eyes
"Ares"
"OMG fucking finally, did Milo give you the phone- wait wheres Milo-?" She sounded concerned
"He fainted, he was muttering something in his sleep then he woke up and fainted" i coldly stated
"Shit, where the fuck are you? He needs his meds!" She yelled in my ear
"Come to my place i guess, its *insert address*" i said calmly before disconnecting the call
We arrived at my place and funny enough Athena was already outside
"Shit this hasn't happened in a few days, he gets like this when hes triggered" she says holding his hand as i carry him inside
Trigger- what trigger? Oh shit his mom.. we were talking about his mom
"God i know what triggered him" i said putting Milo on the sofa, i put my hand on my face and sighed before continuing
"We were talking and his mom got brought up, i think it hurt him alot" she gasps as i said that then turns to a sleeping milo
"Oh poor Milo, his mom is a really sensitive subject- how could you?!" She says turning around and smacking my chest
I just allow it because i do feel guilty, a few seconds later we turn our heads as we hear mumbling
"Shut up hoes" he mumbles rubbing his eyes
Athena bursts out laughing while i just stair blankly at her

I quickly clear my throat bringing both eyes to me. Milo sheepishly smiles and runs over to me wrapping his arms around my neck
I hug him in return, he lets go but i just pull him in closer
"Stoppppp, i have to pee now that im awake" he said making me huff and let go
Milo walks to the bathroom and Athena looks at me before hearing the bathroom door shut and talking
"You better be good to him, hes gone through alot and i need to know if you are actually willing to commit to him. I don't want my best friend to get hurt.." she mumbled the last bit getting emotional
"Of course, i understand why you are so protective of him. I promise you i have no ill intentions, i want to see him smile, and i never want to cause him pain" i stated truthfully making her smile
"Thats all i wanted to hear, hes my family. Since he really likes you i guess i like you too" she shakes my hand before checking the time
"Shit i have work in 10 minutes. Tell Milo i said bye and to text me. Have a fun night.. but not too much fun" she yelled over her shoulder pointing back at me
I just shake my head and sit on the couch. A few minutes later Milo comes down and sits beside me.
Thats how we stay for the rest of the night, cuddling and watching heartstopper
