Breaking The Silence

~ pray for me, the weekend~

When I woke up I had the worst headache imaginable. "Oh fuck" I say rubbing my eyes
"What?" Leia says sleepily. "I have the worst fucking headache right now" I say sitting up against the wall. "Well that happens when you get blackout drunk" She laughs.
   "Fuck, was it bad?" I question. "I dont think so, you did throw up on Eli, and he took you home, but I dont know what was said after that" She looks at me. "WHAT?" I yell. "Yeah" She looks up. "What if I told him how I feel?" I look at her confused. "Im sure he would've told me" She gets up and heads to the fridge. "Yeah I guess, but I THREW UP ON HIM?" I yell again. "Yes girl, it was Everywhere" She laughs. "Thats not funny. Thats so embarrassing I can never go around him again" I sob "Girl you acting like y'all had bad sex or something" She says handing me 3 pills and a water. "Are you saying we would have bad sex?" I pop the pills in my mouth and take a sip of the water "No thats not what Im saying, but thats just how you are acting." She sits back on her bed. "Mhm" I say with water in my mouth. Now she has me thinking if we did have sex that it would be bad. I mean sex with him cant be bad right? What the fuck am I thinking? I need to get my mind out of the  gutter.

"You cant ditch him forever" Jackson says walking next to me. "I can if I have to" I look at him. "Girl you dont HAVE to do anything, you just are embarrassed, but he didn't care, and if he did, Im sure he wouldn't have texted you to hang out" He says as we walk into our math class. "Yeah I guess." I say taking my seat.

I spent most of the class thinking about texting him back. And thats what I did. "Yeah sure, how about 7:30 tonight?" I hit send and wait for his reply. "Sounds great, I'll pick you up" He texts back in 5 minutes. "Perfect:)" I reply. "🙂" He says. Did he really just send a smiling emoji? Oh god. "We are hanging out" I tell Jackson. "Good you need too" He says looking at me. "Yeah I know" I say before picking up my water bottle.
"It will be good for you both to talk. Especially since you said what you said" Jackson says. "What did I say?" I look at him after taking a sip of my water. "You don't remember?" He looks at me confused. "No?" I reply confused. "I guess I wasn't supposed to say anything" He says before getting out of his seat. I follow behind still confused.

It was about 6:30 and Eli is going to be here soon. "Girl get ready" Leia says. "I dont know what to wear, he told me to dress casually but, I dont know" I say looking at my dresser. "Where ripped jeans" she says. " Ok, white shirt?" I ask. "Yeah" She says. "Ok, you are literally the best" I say hugging her. She smiles at me while doing her makeup. "Come here" She says while patting the chair next to hers. "What?" I say confused. This whole day I've been so confused."Im gonna do your makeup" She smiles at me before grabbing her makeup brushes.
"Not to much" I say looking at her. "I know girl" She laughs. "Making sure" I smile.
We dont talk much, I just enjoy the feeling of the soft brushes touching my face, and the thought of getting to hang out with Eli alone, and not drunk either.

Once Leia finishes my makeup its 7:15, and I haven't heard anything from Eli still, and his dorm is 3 doors down from ours. So he should be here soon. I hope so because I'm getting inpatient.

Its 7:30 now and Eli still isn't here. And I was getting anxious. "What if he dont show?" I say. "Girl relax he will, he's just running late, he gotta look cute for his boo" She says just as he knocks on the door. "Shut up" I say getting up. "Byeee have fun, just not to much" She says. I flick her off before walking out. "You look beautiful" He says smiling. "Thank you" I blush. He looks so good. He always does. Even in sweatpants.
"Of course" He says still smiling. "Where are we going" I ask. "My secret hideout." He says grabbing my hand "Oh fun" I say walking next to him my hand is his.

Once we got outside I seen what we was gonna be taking to get there. "YAY" I yell. When I see the bike. "I knew you would want to take the bike, and plus, its not that far from here" He says smiling. "I was hoping we would take the bike" I say getting on. "Well Im glad you like riding, we are going to have so much fun" He gets on in front of me.
"Ready?" He asks. "Yes" I reply, grabbing his sides.
Before I met him I was so scared to ride a motorcycle, because my best friend died in a motorcycle crash one year ago.

"Trust me I will be alright" My best friend Connor says. "Just wear a helmet please." I say to him before going into my house

"Honey" My dad says walking into my room. "Yes dad?" I say looking up from my phone. "There was an accident" He says walking over to my bed. "What do you mean?"  I say looking at him. "Connor, he-he was in an accident" He says with tears in his eyes "W-what?" I say with a stutter. "He was in an accident, he's at the hospital now, his mom called and told me" He says sitting down. "No, it cant be" I say in awe. "He's going to be okay, I just know it, he's a strong boy" He says before giving me a hug. "I hope so"

"Are you okay?" Eli asks looking back at me as we stop at a red light. "Yeah I was just thinking" I reply looking at him. "Okay" He says quietly before . "Okay" I repeat. I lay my head on his shoulder and close my eyes and feel the wind on my face.

"We're here" Eli says stopping the bike. "Already? That was fast" I say opening my eyes. "I told you it wasn't that far from the dorms" He says getting off the bike. I do the same and grab his hand.

"What is this place?" I ask. "I told you its my secret hideout, I come here and think" He says.
"Its so pretty" I say looking ahead of us. You could see the whole city and the sun setting. "Thats why I brought the prettiest girl here" He says looking at me. "Fft, Im not that pretty" I say. "Yeah okay" He laughs. "I actually wanted to talk" He adds. "About what?" I ask. "Well," He pauses.
"Last night you said you, um, loved me, and I know you were drunk but I just want to know-" He says before I cut him off "I DID WHAT?" I yell. "Yeah, you said you loved me" He repeats himself. "Oh my god, thats so embarrassing" I say slamming my hand to my face. "Look I dont mean to embarrass you, but I just want to know if you really do" He says looking at me. "I think so" I say looking down. "Well, I think maybe I'm in love with you too" I look up and he's smiling. "Really?" I ask "Yes really" he says, and I smile.

"I could kiss you right now" He says stepping closer to me. "Then do it" I say.
Next thing I know he pulls me closer and wraps his arms around me. I wrap my arms around his neck. Thats when his lips hit mine. I kiss back.
We stay like that for a while until we make our way to the ground. "Are you sure?" He asks pulling away.
"I really want too, but not here" I say "Thats fine, whenever you're ready" He says. I dont know if I'll ever be ready.
