Saving A Life (A Tarlos Fan Fic)

T.K.'s Pov:

As this is going through my mind I kiss him before I leave.

But as we are kissing he is quick to pull away and he says something to me.

Carlos: "I am going with you."

T.K.: "Baby stay here and keep the others safe."

Carlos: "You don't need to be doing this alone I want to be with you. I want to make sure you are okay and safe we save and help people together remember?"

T.K.: "Yes I remember.."

Carlos: "You are not doing this alone I am not losing you because you saved everyone else before keeping yourself safe."

After he says this he gently grabs my hand and we make our way to the bus that has crashed.

We are going to check on them and make sure everyone including the bus driver is okay.

But as we are trying to make our way over to the bus crash someone else says something to us that gets our attention.

Young Guy: "What about us?"

Carlos: "Just stay here and don't go anywhere this is the safest place for you guys to be right now."

After Carlos says this another gentleman says something.

But this time he is much older than the young guy that was speaking before him.

Older Gentleman: "Why should we listen to you? Who the hell put you in charge?"

Carlos: "I am a police officer and my husband here is a paramedic. We don't know when help will be on the way. So we are trying our best to check on those who need medical attention. But also keep everyone safe at the same time."

Older Gentleman: "What the hell are we supposed to do until then?"

Carlos: "Sir I don't know make some friends or find a way to keep yourself occupied until we figure something out."

After Carlos says this the older gentleman suddenly chuckles like he is mad and I honestly don't like where this is going.

Older Gentleman: "Of course you cops are all the same cocky pieces of sh*t. Who think they can do whatever they please because they think they are above the law."

Carlos: "What did you just say?"

Older gentleman: "You heard me jack a**!!"

Carlos: "What did you say sir because I am well aware that you just called me a piece of sh*t and think I am above the law. When I don't I am just doing my job and keeping everyone safe."

"Older gentleman: "Yeah okay.."

Once the older gentleman says this he isn't looking at Carlos.

He is looking at his surroundings which tells me he is mad and seeing this.

I know I have to get Carlos out of here before a fight breaks out or before he gets hurt.
